Yep, I also just found out by watching the process unfold.
Recently a lot of postings have this flaw.

Would the addition of a filter in the R&E process remedy this, or is that impossible?

I have not seen .nzb files, but the .nfo, .sfv and .srr are always downloaded despite being in my pause filter.

Do you also use R&E with auto-unpausing?

Trying to find out why the pause filter would work for some but not for me. I always end up with all the files in my pause filter in the download/R&E-directory anyway.

It would be nice if this actually worked in v4.

Application error bug is back in 4.0

I begin to regret installing the new final version. The annoying little application error messages from a few versions ago are back. The good news is, they don't seem to have any impact, as all my downloads worked fine so far. The bad news is, they are very annoying and I keep having to click them a...

Working download & repair/extract filters for v4.0

I used two sets of filters in v3.9 final, one in the Queue and one in Repair/Extract, to exclude SFV, SRR, NFO, NZB and sample files. This worked most of the time. In the 4.0 final version, I only see a Pause filter in Queue, which doesn't seem to do anything, and no filter in Repair/Extract, so I e...

I wont be paying for supersearch again. The reason i did in the first place was to save me trawling newsgroups and NZB sites, but thanks to Supersearch and its flakiness i'm now really good at finding the damn files for myself, so please dont be surprised when i dont renew. I guess you won't be the...

This could be related to the same problem Newzbin has, where for over a week most if not all NZB files result in incomplete downloads, even when the actual files are complete on most news servers. It seems to be related to corrupt headers originating from newshosting. For the last week, I have been ...

I have constantly been getting this error, reported earlier in this thread: queue missing chrdrn NL keeps working; it is just annoying to have the error dialogs on top of the NL window all the time. But just now NL has crashed my Vista-PC with a message about pausing the download because it can't wr...

I have given up on downloading it with NOD32. I tried 3 different browsers. In one case I ended up with a 9 MB file, twice the correct size, in other cases with a 0 byte file, and mostly with an empty directory because even after I disabled NOD32, the file was still moved to quarantine.

Re: Try NewzLeech

http://newzleech.com/ I find it useful when SuperSearch is down or I'm surfing and want to know if something is available on usenet. In fact, I've got this handy bookmarklet that searches for any highlighted word in my browser. javascript:q%20=%20""%20+%20(window.getSelection%20?%20window.getSelect...

Newsleecher v3.95 b1 When I try to open an NZB file directly from Firefox 3.02, which was just auto-updated this morning, I get a message that Newsleecher stopped working. NL was shutdown the first couple of times this happened. When I saved the files and opened them in Newsleecher, everything worke...

I am having the same problem described above. I can't login to member area even though nothing has changed, and sending a new password doesn't work, even though I just received a confirmation message for renewing my licence. Which isn't working now, of course. Bah. Edit Apparently there was some sor...

Thanks, nlfreezetest1 solved it for me in Vista 32. I never use the Explorer tab anyway, I was glad I can remove it now. :)
