SuperSearch sending corrupted post data again

Folks, It seems supersearch is sending corrupted data again. What happens is it appears to add the articles and it starts downloading but all posts don't download properly. Then if you go to a different NZB service and download the exact same post everything downloads fine. I'm guessing it has somet...

Supersearch currently returning corrupted data

SuperSearch is DOWN. When choosing a file to download, nothing ever completes. In analyzing the packet logs it appears the data being returned from SuperSearch is corrupted. Many posts tested across 5 different usenet servers. Nothing downloads when using SuperSearch. however the SAME posts when loa...

Re: Downloads won't complete

Supersearch is currently not working properly. Any downloads will not complete properly. Actually there are some extreme bugs with it, when you click on a download in supersearch it actually starts downloading something completely unrelated. It's like all the data for the posts are corrupted. The se...

Re: Hardly anything will download

It has nothing to do with DMCA take down requests. I just used supersearch for several different posts and all of them couldn't download. I am hooked up to 5 different usenet providers, so it is very suspicious when I use supersearch and it doesn't download from any of them. So I refreshed the artic...

GUI setting options for dataFolder and tempFolder

Many people request moving data and temp folder and hunt forever trying to find solution. They ultimately come to forums and ask questions and find out the only way to do it is via newsleecher.ini Specifically these two settings: dataFolder=F:\NewsLeecher\data\ tempFolder=F:\NewsLeecher\temp\ Why no...

Re: Configuration files location FAQ access

Still not sure why this isn't part of the GUI. Too busy to fix the simple things I guess.

Where can you set # of connections in Newsleecher 5.0?

My connections seem to max out at 8, and there doesn't seem to be any place to set it to a larger number.

Does supersearch index file names in .PAR2 files?

This would help find things in scrambled posts. Obviously a must have feature in any search engine these days.

Things like Newznab and Nzedb do this now.

Is your search engine as advanced as those two mentioned by using this type of functionality?

Really, no responses? I'm not the only one that is downloading par2 files to figure out what is in the obfuscated postings?

You people are relying on search services that may be down tomorrow?

This feature is a necessity in this day and age of obfuscated postings.

Doesn't work unfortunately. It only provides .par2 files that are NOT threaded. Looks like I have to ditch newsleecher in this "new world" of obfuscated posts because it doesn't have a basic "unthreaded view". Let me give you an example on how this is such an epic failure: [1qTY39o7weMx9jneXz9y]~~~ ...

That's unfortunate, because with all the obfuscated postings now it will be very difficult to filter through them by downloading all .par2 files and doing text searches on those par2 files. When searching when things are "threaded", then you can not retrieve par2 files that have say a "max KB of 600...

Disable Article Grouping

How do you disable article grouping?

Meaning when it finds a group of files it auto groups them like this:

Some Post (125 rars, 10 pars)

Indicating there are 125 RARs and 10 pars.

I would like to have no expansion (+ sign) on articles and everything in flat structure.
