I'm seeing this in b3 on some files:

4:30:47 PM nlmMsgIDsFromDisk - length = 0 - idPos=-1 - <***filename***>

When the files that throw the error are queued, NL stops downloading anything until they are removed from the queue.

"Not implemented yet (4345)" in v4.0 b3

This pops up when I try to delete articles from cache, making my groups pretty hard to organize. Is this something that will be fixed in b4?

NOD32 reports virus in new beta

It looks like you guys are using the themida packer, which NOD32 reports as a potentially unwanted application due to its use in malware. Could you submit the binary to them and request it be removed from the blacklist?

Supersearch retention

This isn't exactly a new request by any means, but now that Giganews is up to a full 365 days of retention, what are the odds of getting SS to match it?

Looks like this bug is back in 3.95b3. How it happened: I sorted by date, deleted a slew of old files in the queue, saved the queue in case of a crash, and then sorted by name. After that, files hung at "queued" and didn't download, but new files added to the queue as paused worked fine when I went ...

3.9 final has the same issue; anything over 2 days has to be set on the dropdown, otherwise NL ignores the manual MaxDays directive.

Not a system crashing bug, just annoying.

Manual "maxDays" command bug?

spiril: If the .152 is the new general catagory, then of course it's working as it should. But just now I tried a search in the adult category while tweaking my firewall, and the ssero.getmyip.com IP of 74.86.195.153 is not connecting. I have to manually force connections to that IP to route to 74.8...

Thanks, Smudge. It appears as if the new IP of 74.86.192.216 for general searches is not indexing anything newer than 6-7 days, while the old one of 74.86.195.152 still indexes new posts.

What are the new IPs for supersearch? I'm going to have to fix this at the firewall level again.

I'm having the same issue, where posts in a group I know is indexed are not showing up on searches. Additionally, the "MaxDays:" limiter stopped working too. I don't know if that's at all related, but it was certainly working on this same version of NL (v3.8 B8) a couple of weeks ago. The "Max Days"...

"Specials" Leech menu under Supersearch, please

I was wondering why I couldn't find it while trying to download binhex encoded files as raw. It turns out that the Specials menu is only available on the Articles tab. Would it be possible to put this menu under the Supersearch tab as well, or bind a key combination to it in a future release?

Is there a way to import old filters? I had to uninstall my old version (3.8final) and install the new beta (3.9b7) from scratch due to some config file corruption, so I made a text copy of all my poster and subject filters. The new version looks like it will only let me add one filter at a time, an...

Whitelist filters

The current filters operate on a blacklist level--anything entered is ignored when downloading headers. At some point I'd really like a whitelist feature that overrides the blacklist. For example, there are many spammers using a faked hotmail address in their From lines, but there is one poster with...
