Re: Filter dead links?

This feature is both not feasible, and somewhat pointless. Just because an article is removed due to DMCA does not mean it's just *gone*. It's likely still available on another server. If you have frequent problems then change your usenet provider, or make use of backup servers.

Re: Backup the config data only?

You'll really want a copy of the full data folder (excluding cachev4\groups). The "backup" folder only stores basic configuration data and recovering that is trivial. If you're concerned about a failing drive, then what you'll actually want is the download queue and maybe SuperSearch bookmarks and S...

Re: Scheduler Icon

You can enable and disable the scheduler on the status bar, all the way on the bottom left. And there's a menu item there to open the Scheduler setup options screen as well.

Re: Spam & Virused Being Uploaded

You seem to be under the impression that NewsLeecher, or it's owner, is responsible for any of this. Usenet is a public service, anybody can upload whatever they want. The original hosting news servers have absolutely no control over who posts what.

Re: SuperSearch Subject Line Information Parts Numeric Tally

You must have pressed Shift+P. The default (I think) is disabled, press again to disable it, press once more to move it to the end of the subject line instead of beginning.

Re: Superleecher and normal search?

SuperLeech maintains it's own list of what's new. Anything you SuperSearch is *not* going to affect SuperLeech. Open the NL options, go to Interface, click "Reset 'Never Show This Dialog Again' Flags" button. Add a new SuperLeech, and read the message boxes that come up explaining in detail how SL w...

Re: Need your help to squash the wqewq bug

I had this bug in 6.5 and just now tested in 7.0b3 and still can't download much of my queue. Do you still need to see more of these queues that cause the problem? It doesn't look like anyone ever responded here about having sent theirs, and the changelogs make no mention of having found and fixed t...

Re: Superleecher and normal search?

You're not doing anything "wrong", I just suspect you don't know how SuperLeech works. There are a few message boxes that pop up when you add an item to SuperLeech that explains how it works, did you read any of that or just click the OK or Do Not Show button? I'll summarize... In SuperLeech, it run...

You need to specify what "work quite bad" means. Nobody can help you if they don't know what the problem is.

Re: UNKNOWN COULD NOT EXTRACT RAR IN RAR

I saw the fix to uncheck the box under settings to ignore the Rar in Rar files to continue the download but my concern is: is it known if it's a flaw within Newsleecher and to just uncheck the box or is it actual spam and/or a virus being detected and being downloaded? The "fix" you refer to is not...
