Is it specific groups that don't update? What does the log say when it should have updated?

NewsLeecher understands the common format UU-encode and yEnc, but if the article is encoded in MIME or binhex, you will get this error.

In the Settings>Download>Leech Tweaks screen, do you have the PAR2 Quick Download option enabled? That will automatically unpause the par2 index files and if you also have the Repair and Extract feature enabled, it will unpause the files within the archive that is indexed within the par2 file.

You must have checked the "don't ask me again" box at some point. You can reset the warning dialogs in the settings.

I assume you are running the 5.0 Final? The beta version has support for the new RAR format. (Added in 6.5beta2)

Good to know. I'll move this to the New Beta section so that Spiril can look into fixing this issue and any new passwords will work for existing archives.

Sorry for the inconvenience. The SuperLeech feature is new and still in the testing phase. During this time, the number of searches is very limited. Last I heard that it was going well and Spiril is looking to significantly increase the limit so that we can test it under a larger load. Not sure when...

The backup system currently only backs up your NewsLeecher configuration (the setup.dat file). It doesn't back up your queue or query history, at least not yet. It is planned to have it back up more.

The biggest problem with Heartbleed bug is on the server side. Though clients are affected too, it is much less possible that someone will misuse that. I have no idea when the NewsLeecher website and the [HighWinds] usenet servers will be updated with the fixed SSL code and new certificates pushed o...

Is this password the the first or only one in the list? We had an issue, that I thought was fixed, where it would fail if the password was the first one in the manager listing. Try adding a dummy entry to the top of the list and try again.

Please contact your credit card company to ask them why it is being declined. The only info we receive is just a generic declined message of "Declined: Contact Card Issuer - Insufficient funds, Card expired, etc." Our credit card processor is based in Denmark so it might be declined due to an intern...

Obviously that shouldn't happen. How long do you give it before force closing it?

How much memory does your system have and how much is NewsLeecher using? Are you running Win8 or 8.1?

Sorry for the inconvenience. Usually the bug reports section is for posting info about the bug to the developer but not necessarily for a support response. If it was only happening in the beta version but not the last final then it should be posted in the New Beta Releases section. Since this is a p...
