The move of the config files is also done for Vista. If NL would save the config files and group cache, it would have to run as admin because you usually are not allowed to write in the program files folder. With the settings in the user profile, you don't have that problem. To install the program,...

Since some users didn't want the other users to see their configs, the data files were moved to the user's profile directory instead. Unfortunately Microsoft feels they need to hide that directory which makes it difficult for many users to manage. I can see Newsleechers reasoning :-) But for the no...

A good idea.

Although don't know why you just don't default the file to the installation directory of Newsleecher in the first place.

Wishlist: setup.dat delete option

Can you add an option (button) so we can delete the setup.dat file when it gets corrupted, rather than having to find it to delete it. Reason: I help a number of people with Newsleecher on a continuing basis, and sometimes when that file gets corrupted I need them to delete it. And when some of thes...

V3.9 Beta 15 Data Folder Location

I've found this version won't allow me to change the Data Folder Location (Options/Folders) after doing an APPLY/OK.
On restart its still shows the default location and I now keep getting the following bug pop-up.

Bug Data1:
93kdm2aa

Bug Data2:
File access denied

Think I got the bug fixed. Pls try this test release and let me know how it goes: http://www.newsleecher.com/nltesting1.exe It was some weird bug that only showed up if there wasn't a file sort order applied to one of the NewsLeecher file explorer view columns. As I said on the first page of this t...

My main reason for getting to 3.9 Final is so my friends can use the in-built par&rar feature during trial mode. That is the best feature I have seen in the program for ages. But, no point in getting there without the crashing bugs fixed. Myself I can't use any beta past 3.9 beta 8. However, they ar...

And what if it's been over 30 days? I'm tired of Newsleecher crashing and giving errors all the time. I didn't pay good hard earned money for something that doesn't live up to what it's supposed to do. It worked fine a year or so ago, but keeps getting worse as it gets worked on. You aren't forced ...

Undo command

How about an UNDO command when deleting files in the queue?

The option would also be able to allocate certain amount of selectable memory so you get a choice of how many undo's you can do.
