Alas I feel all of this. Been using Newsleecher since the beginning and have faithfully continued a subscription. What are my alternatives?

Agree something needs to be done about the crashing problem when downloading headers.

Thank you for your reply. I'm only downloading a single group at a time and yes it does take forever to get headers.

I haven't touched anything. This is a real issue that's been addressed by several paying customers.then maybe some setting on your computer or router is blocking the connection.
