In setup options there is a setting for speed display between Kilobytes Per Second (KB/s) and Kilobits Per Second (Kbs).

That may be where the confusion lies.

Netgear wireless router and newsleecher

I go a wireless N Netgear router to replace my Linksys wireless G.

Newsleecher worked fine with G but with the N router the downloads aren't constant, they are intermittent with a pause between parts.

Is there a router setting I need to change?

Yes, system clock is correct.

And I understandstand my server doesn't keep headers older than 30 days, my problem is newsleecher won't download any newer than 30 days.

Nothing has changed in my system or setup other than SS service expired.

Newsleecher messed up since Super Search expired

My Super Search subscription expired on the 22nd (although I was under the impression I'd get a few extra days because of all the issues over the past year). Ever since when I download new headers, Ii only downloads ones that are 30 days or older. This is quite inconvenient since my cable provided u...

I'll try that, but I was hoping for a different answer.

I don't necessarily like the idea of reloading all my groups and headers.

Newsleecher minimizes to tray

Lately after I open Newsleecher, if I click on anything, a header, switch groups, click a tab, anything at all, Newsleecher will minimize to the system tray and then it won't maximize back to the desktop.

Headers update automatically

When I choose a group to activate and view, the headers start updating by itself. I do not want this and it seems that Newleecher has just started doing this to me recently. I need this turned off. 8/22/2006 12:29:05 PM Browsing & Auto Updating (Optionally) Group: "alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.complete_c...

Seperate servers and seperate goup lists

I use 2 usenet servers, one a pay site and one from my ISP.

I want to keep the group lists seperate and download seperately from the 2 servers, this doesn't have to be at the same time.

Is this possible and how?

"Bug Report" box doesn't close

When I hit the "close" button, the box stays open and you can't close it.

I'm wondering why I paid for this...
