Isn't it sufficient with the 'Group Navigation Dropdown" located on the 'Articles' toolbar ? It's pretty quick to access that, either by keyboard or mouse. I didn't even notice that! My apologies, you are absolutely right! VERY fast. Can right click functionality be added to the drop down button? I...

Bravo Spiril. Very well said. Personally I find the new GUI to be lighter and faster. Header download performance is the same, and while the tabs are wide, it isn't an issue to me on my wide screen monitor. Maybe you are running a low resolution? Have you tried a traceroute to your Usenet provider t...

I am happy with the double-click functionality. Works perfect. The 'H' shortcut to open the GNP is faster, but still inconvenient. One needs to type 'H', double click, type 'H', browse, type 'H', double click, type 'H', browse. The cursor needs to be all the way to the left to double click a group, ...

Thank you for the double-click to open functionality, it is fast and works perfectly. Using keyboard shortcut 'H' to show the GNP is still inconvenient however, (in my opinion) although it is faster than the previous beta. I would like to request that the auto-hide functionality of the GNP be brough...

Re: Auto Hide Group Navigation Panel/Optional Checkboxes

For the next beta, I've implemented a keyboard shortcut for showing / hiding the GNP. Thank you for this as well as the double-click functionality. If autohide can be re-implemented, I would greatly appreciate it. It's easier to just move the mouse there and it shows, with my cripple hands (arthrit...

Auto Hide Group Navigation Panel/Optional Checkboxes

I like the interface, more polished, and seems lighter to me. However, I would still like to be able to autohide the GNP(Group Navigation Panel) so that if I move my mouse to the left of the screen, it appears without the need to click the hide button. I believe this was the previous behavior? Also,...

I should make a flow chart of the stages of threat when something is not working. 1. Inform. 2. Whine. 3. Complain. 4. Insult. 5. Threaten. 6. Pull out an "expert" and have him follow steps 3, 4, 5. Or something to that effect. It would be nice if these posts were informative rather than "strongly w...

I'm sorry? Who bashed you specifically? Were you mentioned by name? Quoted? Are you one of those types who look for arguments on Internet forums? I.E. Trolling. If so, feel free to continue this imagined argument yourself. The fact is, I created the thread as a request for news, and the topic of dis...

So why post here? Honestly. Go post over at Giganews since you are happy with their product like I am with Newsleecher. No reason to come bash something if you do not use it, other than to troll and try to look cool on an Internet forum.

For the record, I did start this thread.

Why come piss and moan about Newsleecher? Don't like it? Go use another client. Gripe elsewhere. This thread was started just for news, not for an Internet bitch session. Myself, I will renew my subscription just like every year. Newsleecher works for me and works quite well. When the author returns...
