SS down since early hours this AM for me

Post by tommo123 »

i can search but when i choose to leech, i get this:
[Window Title]
NewsLeecher v4.0 Beta 13 - License Status [ Registered - Thank You ]

[Content]
Error:
Unable to use the SuperSearch service!

Reason:
The SuperSearch Engine is currently busy performing a search or receiving Messages IDs for you.

[OK]
i left it overnight as i assumed it was maintenance or something but it's still there about 9-10 hours later.

Same error for me, although I have pressed ctrl+d a few times since the first time and no longer see the error. Just the status message for each header is listed as OK, instead of Queued.

The other queued files are downloading at full speed.

Okay, so now things are weird. I can queue 1 header, sometimes 5 at a time. But not always.

Apparently, if a single header cannot queued, then the entire group that was selected cannot be queued. If you go back and select everything around the "bad" header, those will queue as a group.

double lol

Here is the log result whenever I attempt to queue a header that will not queue.
2/21/2010 10:16:08 PM * SS Connect Info : 174.37.197.132:119 (ssgen.getmyip.com)

Running a tracert on that IP resolves in 19 hops.

A successful queue looks like this:
