Superseach has now been down for over 2 hours. I did notice that the porn side search still works.

You know, it's getting to the point where you need to rename the feature and drop the 'super' because it is far too common an occurrence that the damn thing stops working. What's up, is it going through puberty or pmsing or something?
For the years I've been a customer I've kind of stuck by SS, being a developer I understand that bugs happen, being a system admin I understand that sTuff happens all too often as well but really, that comes a point where either a proper solution is implemented or admit defeat.

The developer and his team (if he even knows what it is/have one) are far too irresponsible to post a simple notice that the service is not working again. He has no problem notofying anyone when the subscription expires or when a crappy beta is out.
Sorry! Forgot there has never been a real release version since bugs from the first release have never been fixed.
Don'tknow what country he is from but appears that the term "customer service" is unknown to him or he simply does not care about us paying customers.
I guess renewal+Newsleecher don't go together anymore.

Use binsearch instead
When supersearch has a problem, I rely on http://www.binsearch.info/
It works great, is threaded and is extremely simple to use.

Not sure what was wrong but both servers are working fine. If you are still having problems, try quitting and restarting NewsLeecher.
