The log just fills up with this. RnE is not extracting at this point. Stopping RnE stops the errors being logged.

Same issue as the original poster:

RnE will verify/monitor/repair but WON'T extract. I thought it may be due to a corrupt file (e.g. nlpar.dll) but a reinstall did not help. Restarting the program and rebooting cpu did not help either.

Well, I uninstalled NL 5 and cleaned out the folders in C:\Documents and Settings\Dr Frag\Application Data\NewsLeecher except for the servers folder. I reinstalled NL 5 and so far there are no errors. I did zip up the files in that folder just in case I needed to go back. It's probably only one file in there that needs to be nuked but I didn't bother to spend the time troubleshooting to that level.

Test with Quickpar standalone .. or Multipar.

I have seen a similar thing before, and it was the par set causing problem.

Hello,
Thanks for your reply.
I am getting these messages since yesterday no matter what I try to download.
I have tried over 20 different downloads.
QuickPar does not get me far. It literally tells me all my files are bad.

There is something else going on !

All different downloads? Sure sets are proper sets?

Try some other good small file sets from different group.
Try Multipar on them. I just threw away quickpar and now use multipar. Better on incorrectly named file sets and parts.

Had any PC memory problems lately?
Bad memory will create and/or extract corrupted files.
