Windows 7 x64, Quadcore CPU with HT
Newsleecher randomly freezes, especially when it does not have the focus (like when it's minimized). I've had this since the early betas. This is not the minimize bug, NL really hangs and has to be killed by task manager.
I can't shake the feeling that this is a multi threading issue with R&E.
Unfortunately I cannot provide any other information, the windows application error log only has this:
Programm newsLeecher.exe, Version 0.0.0.0 kann nicht mehr unter Windows ausgeführt werden und wurde beendet. Überprüfen Sie den Problemverlauf in der Wartungscenter-Systemsteuerung, um nach weiteren Informationen zum Problem zu suchen.
Prozess-ID: 1344
Startzeit: 01cb8fad7f0b1c39
Endzeit: 12
Anwendungspfad: C:\Program Files (x86)\NewsLeecher\newsLeecher.exe
Berichts-ID: ccb797b8-fbb1-11df-a2eb-00247eaa50cf

If I set NL to minimize to tray it gets 'stuck'after a short while.
I won't open by clicking on the icon.
Transfers continues.
It also interfers with other windows.
Windows can't be brought to front anymore.
All kind of weird behaviour.
This bug is present for at least 7 beta's
If you left click on the tray icon you will see "Tray Options", just enable "Single-Click Activate", problem gone.
Tested it for a few days and the problem is far from solved with that trick.

RnE doesnt start unless I manually unpause at least one .par
Some filesets don"t have a the small par2 file. Just larger ones of 7MB and bigger. Maybe that"s the problem...
Anyway I think RnE should always unpause the smallest par from the fileset and download it first.

Win 7 Professional 64, AMD Quadcore 4 Gig Ram

Starting neewsleecher by default leads to the following error message:

"Bug Data1:

Bug Data2:
queue start ge na"

Pressing F12 and disabling all .dat files leads to the following error message:

"Bug Data1:
kjksjd

Bug Data2:
data error"

Subsequently, using SuperSearch generates the following error:

"Bug Data1:
lkjsalkdja

Bug Data2:
Access violation at address 00CAE351 in module 'newsLeecher.exe'. Read of address 0000000C"

I'd be grateful for any suggestions as how to fix this. Thanks for the effort!

I guess many others are observing the same problem. Program freezed for no reason, while still continuing to use all the cpu power it can. That is also when I stopped using the previous betas, starting with v22. They all had the same problem. Leave it open at night, wake up to a freezed program that does nothing other than using all the cpu power it can use during that state.

And currently, to give another try to v24, I restarted the program and now I get the trial expired message. 3 days trial, I guess, is better than nothing...
