Access violation and floating point errors

Post by Gabor »

Hi,

I keep getting these errors:

When opening the settings window:
Bug ID:
14r09r24x.70003

Bug Data #2:
'-196.17914' is not a valid floating point value

This appears once, I can click it away and browse through the menus.
This also appears when entering the folder setup. But when adding a folder I get this error, and when I click OK it keeps coming (endless loop).

Bug ID:
14w07b29x

Bug Data #2:
Access violation at address 00A33D53 in module 'NewsLeecher.exe'. Read of address 00000008

The only way to close it is to close the folder entry setup window.

I have uninstalled Newsleecher, deleted all old and hidden folders (app data), deleted every registry entry referring to Newsleecher. Running Win 7. No other software errors, no other issues, this all happened since upgrading from 5.0 to 7.0 beta 5 (and continues in beta 6 and 7).

Any thoughts?

I'm guessing it's just me then....? Went back to 5.0 final and no more errors.
Could it be some service not running in the background? There's no error in the win logs.

This is occurring numerous times here too. Often, if I try to add a paused to the DL queue while a another DL is active, crash.

Very unstable build.

And as a result, I have to clear my DL queue yet again and start over. Lord this is tiring. Will we ever get a stable beta? Ever?

Another day, another corrupt Download queue. Apparently, this is a new feature since it's been around a while.

To avoid this problem, do not add more items to your DL queue while there is a leech in process. Will crap out NL every time.
