I'm getting the same problem as well. It doesn't seem to be an issue with drivers either, as reinstalling them has had no change, plus the wheel works fine in all other applications.

It worked fine in all versions before 4.0b7, but its proving to be quite annoying now.

Still not working as of 4:00AM BST, bringing the total downtime I've seen to 5 hours. Not amused.

I'm seeing this behaviour as well. I'm not sure if it was present earlier betas and I just hadn't noticed, but I've definitely seen it in 4.0b3. The problem seems to only occur when there is a threaded entry that contains pars/rars/nzb/sfv/nfo, but also contains a single file marked as "other". The ...

Yup, still seems to be down here as well. Oddly ssgen seems to be returning "connection refused", but annoyingly ssero works fine.

Nice work on RnE, works quite nicely the majority of the time :) I've found another small bug with RnE though. When it tries to extract any type of RAR archive, if the destination directory has an ASCII null character as the first character of any directory name in the destination, RnE invents a new...

I do see where you're coming from atomicjew, but if you look at it from Spirils point of view; if the trials kept getting reset with each new release, you could end up never having to buy NL. The whole point of the trial is to show you what the program is like, which you should have a pretty good of...

Supersearch could even be it's own standalone program that could spit out NZB files and NL could monitor the NZB directory and import them automatically. (Hey Spiril! An idea for another program but not until NL is finished! :) ) then there'd also need to be a split, or at least a change between th...

I came on board on 25jan2004, version 1.0 Beta 12, so I guess I can use SS for free for an unlimited period... :D  Heheh, I actually came aboard 5days after you it seems :) The 5 free searches a day idea would also encourage more people to buy NL, who might be put off by having to pay $35 for...

To be honest I don't really see this as a big deal. When you think about the time that Spiril will have put into SS to make it work as well as it does, it is fair he gets paid for it. The way I see it is there are two seperate items here, not one single entity. You've got the NewsLeecher news client...

Well it's gonna have to be a paid for feature simply because the servers and the bandwidth they use is going to have to be paid by someone, and I seriously doubt Spiril (as much as he loves us ;)) is going to fund that on his own ;) It is a good feature though, and makes a nice change to see some gr...

Spiril, what can I say? Super Search kicks some serious Usenet behind ;) Very nicely done :)

Little bit concerned at the cost of it though. Although I guess it isn't really that much more than a years worth of newzBin, and it is self contained..

Anyway, congrats again :)

I just thought i'd check to see if this was widespread problem or isolated before I started emailing Spiril and having a go. It looks like there were holdups with the NL site, as both key request emails have turned up now. I guess the new key system for b29 must have put the server under more strain...

New Keycode Not Being Sent

I bought NL a long time ago, and have just downloaded and installed b29, and tried getting the site to send me a new key for b29. However, even though it claims to have sent it, nothing has come through in over an hour. I have also tried a second time and still no luck. The email address is fine, an...
