I just update to Beta 9 from Beta 7 and every time I try to update a groups headers I get a "Can't Create Temporary File on..." with some crazy path name. Does anyone else have this issue or does anyone have a fix for it? Is it safe to go back to version 7?
TIA,
Capn.

Re: More Destination Manager tags
I would really like to have the "NZB Name" tag to use on destination directories. That would solve a lot of my problems. I would say this is something I want more than anything thing else I have seen.

Capn.

Re: download directory for each nzb file?
Hi Scuba Well, I thought I had it using tags and I did but the tags made the names too long blowing out the path constraints. I use to create my own NZB files using the the "select files, right click, more, create nzb, put in my own name for the directory, then saving the nzb where NL would pick it ...

Re: download directory for each nzb file?
I found the answer in tags. Now if I can just get the right tags or the right tags exist I will be in good shape.
Sure hope this works.

Re: download directory for each nzb file?
Scuba - I am trying to do just the opposite. I want the files to dowload and make nice little download folders with the path in the NZB file. How do I set that up? alt.binaries.file/coolness_live_2087/
Thanks,
Cyrus

Building Download Directories
I used to be able to create directory structures on download by exporting the files I wanted to an .nzb file that I customized the folder name to download too and importing it. Now I just get all the files placed in the group directory. I don't get the tree structure like alt.binaries.test ---------...

Dowload Folder Naming Trouble with latest beta
For some reason my downloads are being put one file per directory. I create my own NZB files so I control the directory name (due to super long names that really screw up the works.) It creates the group subfolder name and then it creates the NZB named folders, but it only puts a file, the .ion file...

Re: Is V5 no longer being developed? Do I move on to V6?
Well you are about 10 or so versions behind the curve.[/quote] Actually, no. I am on 5.2b2 which I believe is the latest in the 5 series. My bad for causing some confusion. Still have to wonder if V6x.x is where all the development will be. If you have V6, it would seem that the development cycle fo...

Is V5 no longer being developed? Do I move on to V6?
I am having a lot of problems with V5 beta 2. Now that V6 beta 2 is out, it begs the question of whether version 6 is the only version being developed. If no more 5, then I will move on to 6, though version 6 seems a bit "self serving" for Newsleecher's new hosting plans. Since I am not on those pla...

I have found that when you first subscribe to a group, all of the headers are not downloaded IF you have NL set to only download say 20,000,000 on the first download. You have to download all the headers are they will be a big gap, as seen in the days of posting, in that group. If you clear the cach...
