[v8.0 Beta 1] Unable to pause queue like v7

With v7 I could pause/resume the queue from any tab (useful for when browsing the groups, and when I forget I can pause the queue to prevent new downloads until I've done queuing them) and also when the queue was empty. Now I can only do it from the Queue tab itself and also only when the queue has ...

XOver errors

I've been getting XOver error randomly for a while now and they happen to random groups at random times. There's no pattern I can see but they always cause the group header download to stick at "2" with the time to complete just ticking up to large amount of time. I have to reset the connection to s...

Sorry, but that doesn't wash - I want v4 for the extra performance, not for options to be forced on me without ways to disable them.

For now add an exclusion to McAfee's on-access scan properties and you'll be able to run it. Since this happened there's been 2 more McAfee updates but neither have fixed this. How do you add the exclusion to mcafee? I couldn't add anything into the trusted program list. Go to the on-access scan pr...

But there's every reason to keep download & destination folders separate and on different drives: -Hecks Yeah if you're lucky enough to have more than one physical drive, even more difficult for us laptop owners. Remember multiple volumes do not help, only physical drives make an diffence and then ...

Why all the complaining ? Because it's being treated as a feature request rather than a bug/programming error. You registered on the forum on " 25 May 2004" has it really took you nearly 3 years to work out you can't save to a network drive? I fail to see what this has to do with anything, except p...

It has never been said that Newsleecher has UNC support so you are not buying something that isn't working properly. Right now it is still a request to have UNC support added. Sorry, but that's like saying that only 8.3 filenames are supported - UNC is a normal and standard part of Windows and I ca...

if your wanting to download to a different machine on your network you gotta map a shared drive on the machine your using to download with. No you don't "gotta"! UNC path names have been an integral part of Windows since NT 3.5 (probably before) and are a standard way to access files. No program no...

UNC paths (3.9b1)

Seems that when you choose a UNC path for Leech (Specify) e.g. "\\server\sharename\folder" in folder "subfolder", the download ends up in c:\server\sharename\folder\subfolder

Took me a little while to figure out what had happened to my download.
