Files can be corrupted in many different ways. There are too many reasons to list, but it's very common for a server to drop article parts when propagating to another server.

To repair the files, turn on Repair'n'Extract and use the par2 recovery files that are posted with most files.

Your Internet connection may not have been reprovisioned correctly. Have you checked to see if it is indeed 15mbps by doing a speedtest?

Nope, this is not an option at this time. Once NL exhaust the list of newservers to download from it will save the incomplete file to disk. Incompletes are a fact of life with Usenet which is why PAR files were created.

It appears your configuration files are corrupt. You'll need to delete them.

Request a new license key and see if that makes a difference. If it doesn't, your firewall or HOSTS file may be to blame.

I can only tell you what Spiril said, that it wasn't implemented correctly and it wasn't used by many people.

I'm not sure what your RegEx is searching for, but instructions for using SS are in the SS forum.

Re: Might just be me

Right i installed Newsleecher 3.9 Final and I've not had any problems that I noticed which is a good thing but just lately when i was using SuperSearch I would search say something like "Name of a Header Subject" and it will show 90 files 3-4 Incomplete. So i use Binsearch and researched same name ...

Regex mode was removed for two reasons, 1) There was very little interest in it and thus was not used very often (very confusing for most users) 2) It wasn't implemented correctly and had lots of problems There is a thread from a long long time ago where Spiril said this. Not sure where it is any mo...

Your or your ISP is using a proxy server and is caching the downloaded file.

You can download v3.9 from here instead:

That error message means the file does not exist on your news server. It appears you are using your ISP's news server. ISP new servers typically do not have good retention or completion rates.

We recommend you use a premium news service like Giganews or Newshosting.

Then I would suggest you do a fresh reinstall of NL. Remove all data/config files prior to reinstalling so that you start over with a clean install of NL.
