There is another more serious matter here that I have noticed with the new beta and McAfee VirusScan Enterprise. When I have 3.95B1 running with the exception in place on %Program Files%\Newsleecher, the on-access shield keeps terminating due to an error. This affects 8.5 and 8.7 at least on my own ...

Right-click the VirusScan shield in your system tray and select 'On-Access Scan Properties'. Select 'All Processes' on the left and then go to the 'Exclusions' tab. Click 'Exclusions...' and then click 'Add...'. Locate your newsleecher.exe file (either in C:\Program Files (x86)\Newsleecher or C:\Pro...

Obviously it's not a solution but the filenames can't possibly contain a * since it's a reserved wildcard character so if you just search for 'mash', you'll probably get what you're looking for anyways...

Probably better to post this in this thread actually: Been looking into this. "New Poly Win32" seems to be a generic detection catch-all for anything that has been detected by its heuristic detection procedure. Details are available at http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_99969.htm. Apparently the alert...

SuperSearch Weirdness, Part 2

Further to my issue above, once the second of these issues occurs, if I restart Newsleecher, I lose my SuperSearch history. This doesn't seem to happen if I restart it as a result of the first issue or if I just close it and reopen it normally.

SuperSearch Weirdness

I have two issues with SuperSearch which occur on both this and the previous beta. They both appear to occur after leaving Newsleecher running solidly for at least 12 hours and restarting Newsleecher fixes it until the next time. 1. The 'Max Days' selector completely empties itself, making it imposs...

Issue with both Beta 14 and 15 which prevents the 'Pause if disk space gets below' option from actually pausing when I tell it to (10000Mb). It keeps pausing at 0.03Mb regardless of what I set.

I have an issue with Repair n Extract where it works absolutely fine until it has nothing to repair or extract. Whilst just sitting there 'monitoring' with no actual work, it completely freezes up Newsleecher at regular intervals. It comes out of it again but the frequency of the freezing heavily af...

Hi, Great feature peeps. When it's finished, it will save me tons of time messing around with my downloads. Have one issue and one feature request. Issue: I'm sure this has come up before but the extraction procedure seems to be hogging resources on my Athlon64 3000+ to the extent that during extrac...
