Can we please have sorting order retention back in the explorer please? It may not seem like much, having to press (usually twice) the header you wish to sort by but to do it every directory when looking for something nested is a real pain in the butt. Otherwise, perfectly happy with where 4.0 is he...

You know, it's getting to the point where you need to rename the feature and drop the 'super' because it is far too common an occurrence that the damn thing stops working. What's up, is it going through puberty or pmsing or something? For the years I've been a customer I've kind of stuck by SS, bein...

@TimeLordCat -- While 2TB a month is a doable number if you download 3GB an hour for 30 days straight without stopping. I'd be surprised that an ISP would allow you to download that much every month, and if they do please share so we can all get hooked up with unlimited downloads cause I'm unoffici...

Am I the only one who would rather have a stable, with 200+ retention than play around with a new version that'll suffer the same problems with SS?

I'd switch to paying bad money for it then, perhaps you'll feel less persecuted? Believe it or not, we are all affected by this. Each and every one of us. Can you imagine how tiresome it would be to read the thread if we all posted about what good or bad the money we spent on the product was?? While...

This could be a range of problems really. Changing both ISP and router would initially have me searching to see if; a) Your ISP only allows NNTP service from their own servers (Not something I'd expect to see these days but it may happen.) b) Your router, for some odd reason, filters out NNTP traffi...

Smart Select is too Greedy

Smart select seems to have become quite greedy recently and seems to select far too much (compared to what it used to.) For example, selecting a TV show that has 11 episodes posted (and returned in a search) when I select Smart Select, it wants all 11 of them. An example of this working would be; Se...

Selected Articles being displayed twice in status.

In the Articles tab, if I shift-click a range, I'll see the number of selected articles quoted twice. That is, if I select 2 articles, it reports 22 or 34 articles it reports 3434. Version: 3.95 B3 Operating System w/ Service Pack Version: Vista 32 Fully patched Installation Method: Upgrade Type of ...

Indexing turn-around time : 2.8 minutes

What is that based on because (using Giganews) I am seeing articles that are 0.4 days old in a.b.m but cannot be searched in SuperSearch yet.

If newsleecher was smart they would of been proactive and prepared for a retention upgrade by giganews. It always happens and will happen again. I bet the next time newsleecher will be behind again by the time they just caught up. Yeah, come on guys, how sloppy is that!! I mean, next time you see s...

One wonders what the legal requirements of Comcast would be with regard to providing up-to-date usage information upon request so a user can verify (or indeed compare with their own captured data) how much data transfer has taken place. It is quite annoying to see this world wide trend of "Oh God, t...
