Re: New final

Nothing. They are milking what's left of their holdout subs. I canceled mine months ago. It was fun while it lasted. Too bad they can't be honest or communicative with their customers.

Re: What's new in Beta 3?

Haven't seen an update since May. What is going on? I'm still getting charged like clockwork, even though SS and SL barely work most of the time. The least you guys could do is communicate with us.

Re: Selective Repair/Rebuild

I think when I said 'non-rar' files I mean, not 'content' files. A blacklist would be easier than a whitelist, though. In other words, don't repair 'nfo', 'sfv', 'txt', 'html', etc.. and just repair and extract anything else. Cleaning up the par2 repair files is a nice feature but it's not what I wa...

Re: Live Extract

NL wouldn't be able to start the extraction process while the download is still ongoing. It's similar to WinRAR.. I'm confused. Why wouldn't NL be able to do this if WinRAR can? I do it all the time (well, used to now that I use NL for 99% of downloading.) I start extracting from the first file in ...

NL v7.0 Final, SL never returns results on initial item creation

This has been an issue since early beta. Every time I make a new entry in SL, it will not find the first item. I always have to wait a week for it to pick up the next episode automatically. I always have to get the first result manually via SS. I'm on Windows 10, which is up to date but this issue h...

Re: Superleech nearly worthless

"If you type BOB SOLE in Google do you expect to find listings about BOB DOLE?" Actually, yes. A modern search algorithm should be predictive. wvd_vegt makes valid points. I'll add that not being able to specify a range to search in basically guarantees that SL is going to eventually miss things. Ma...

Cloud Services

IT would be amazing, and keeping with modern computing standards, to implement some cloud-based features.

Syncing of SL entries/settings
Syncing of application settings
Syncing of queue

I think features like this are essential, and I'd be willing to pay more for them! [-o<

Re: Superleech after a specific time

Sorry to necro this post but, yes! This! It takes at least a month to "train" superleech to grab weekly shows. Even then, shows aren't always posted in the same hour. This seems like an obvious improvement. It could potentially decrease the number of SL requests, overall. I'm quite surprised there a...

Re: NL 7 b12 - Can't register (YES YOU CAN)

Don't post the login problem here in this forum. Send the issue directly to " NewsLeecher Support " a for fast response. I know............Great help there! Nope. I tried to reset my password. It just made the situation worse as I can now no longer register any copy of NL and I sent a message to su...

So not only did resetting my password not work, I can't even register beta 11 anymore.

Re: Selective Repair/Rebuild

I get what you're saying, Simonle but the whole point is automation, at least for me. I used QuickPar (and it's predecessors) for years before Repair N Extract was available so it would be taking a step back to do as you suggest and (to paraphrase) "why not just not use NewsLeecher?" :P ;) I do appr...

Re: NL 7 b12 - Can't register (YES YOU CAN) - Not everyone

I reset my password and it still won't accept my registration. I'll be opening a ticket, and it's worth posting it here.

NL 7 b12 - Can't register

Ironically, this release that was supposed to fix registration issues, caused mine. I can no longer complete my registration with NL. My account is current. Going back to b11 until this is fixed.

Re: ONE SuperLeech result in the last week

This is happening for me also. I can see what I'm searching for when I download headers for the group it should be in but both SL and SS fail to find the items. This has been happening for about 24 hours. I'm using NL v7.0b10. I cleared the filter field as you suggested but there is no change.
