We're not "forcing" beta upgrading for fun. It's something that we have to do from time to time, due to bug fixes or improvements in either NL or SS. In regards to B23, it fixed a bug that prevented NL from fully use the features of SuperSearch. Isn't there some way for you to release the newest be...

yeah this isn't the first time this happens and it's such a hassle each time. I don't mind upgrading but invariably I run into a bunch of new problems with the new betas that are so frustrating. Maybe there's a way to spend an extra day or two finding a way to put out new betas without making Supers...

forcing me to upgrade so supersearch will work

it's telling me I need to upgrade to the most recent version to use supersearch. I"m using v4.0 beta 22 RC. I"m only one behind!! I don't like updating so frequently because invariably I have to deal with any new problems with the next beta version. Why do you keep disabling the search engine when y...

Bug Data1: wqewq:: 0 :: 0 :: 40 Bug Data2: Argument out of range ================ I give up. The download paths ARE NOT over 260 characters. Why does it keep reading them as that? What the hell is wrong with it? You want to do us all a favor? THEN STOP FORCING US TO UPGRADE BY DISABLING THE SUPERSEA...

Smudge wrote:You problem looks to be related to an invalid download directory in the queue. This is most likely due to a corrupted setup.dat file. I would recommend removing the setup.dat file and setting it up again.

thanks for the help smudge

I had v 4.0 beta9. I upgraded to v4.0 beta 19 because supersearch stopped working for earlier versions. I detailed my problem with v4.0 beta19 on page 1 of this thread. No solution. So i rolled back to 4.0 beta9. Now supersearch doesn't work. Since newzbin went down, supersearch on newsleecher was o...

couple other posts about this. The queue in beta 8 doesn't show items that are added unless you restart the program. This doesn't happen every time, but definetely happens when you open an NZB from a website. I tried downloading the file to my desktop and then opening it from there but same problem ...

thanks for the reply tp I've got so many items in my queue that sorting them now would be too much of a headache. A quick correction to what I posted earlier - If I search for the files in my queue I find them. Once I clear the search box they're gone. BUT if after searching for them I bump them up ...

4.0 beta 8 - files added to queue don't show up until i restart NL

Hi just updated to 4.0beta8 and for some reason now whenever I add an NZB file (whether from the articles tab or from an internet site) it won't show up in the queue. Strangely enough if i SEARCH for the file I just added it shows up, but when I clear the search box it's gone again. Restarting Newsl...
