Re: Effect of Office 2007

It's interesting that you say that, because I just installed Office 2007, but have had the problem long before I installed it. So, I don't think that the problem is only caused by the new version of Office. It was in my case, I just restored my system to the restorepoint of Office2007 en NL is look...

I think I found the problem. but I don't know how to fix it.

The problem occurs after installing Office 2007. I tried ithis at a "clean" system.
I think office has replaced a font that is used by Newsleecher.

Someone know how to fix this w/o doing a system restore?

I also noticed that the combo boxes in the Setup Dialog window are not changed and have the normal system font.

Re: Newsleecher 3.8 Beta 9 font used for supersearch and Max Days

Just updated to Newsleecher 3.8 Beta 9 from one of the earlier betas (7?) and the font being used for the Max Days combo box as well as the Search for box under the SuperSearch Service tab as well as the Speed Limit, Cur, and Space items on the status bar at the bottom of the window is some odd bol...

I like that idea. Right now it is only possible to filter the results based on Subject. Another option you can try is to only run the search on that specific group using the group: argument in the search field (for example "Aerosmith group:alt.binaries.mp3" would only return results from that group...

Request: Superserch filter on group

Maybe this has been requested before but I'll give it a try.

What I realy would like to see in NL is a newsgroup dropdownlist in the supersearch window. where I can filter on one of the newsgroups that have been found by supersearch.
I hope u all understand what I mean. :)

The problem was: Oct 31, 2004 Due to a bug (fixed) in the Super Search engine, articles dated between 30-31 october were indexed incorrectly. This means that it will not be possible to leech most of the articles from these days via the Super Search function. The bug has however been fixed so future ...
