Re: Can the developer finally answer this question?

I just checked the current version of Newsleecher on my Personal Computer and sure enough, the "Nerdy Tweaks" were finally renamed to something more appropriate. Nice to see you finally took my advice to improve this piece of apathy. I don't know exactly when you did it but I hope you credited me in...

Re: Super Search excluding groups

I was searching for an answer to this topic using the Google and came across this post. I had to comment on it because this is quite possibly the most profoundly stupid thing I've ever read in my life. The thought that somebody read this thread and thought that this was the appropriate thing to say ...

Holy crap. I can't believe it. They finally fixed this stupid bug. Anybody else notice that downloads that violate the maximum length get dropped into your download folder's root? Not the ideal solution but at least I don't have the raging anger caused by a bunch of empty downloads. I was going to s...

+1 for tabbed SuperSearch. While you're at it, you could also fix it so that when you are moving between searches the position doesn't always get reset to the top. That's annoying as hell. Also, being able to delete a recent search with the delete key would save a few mouse clicks. It would be nice ...

How do I go about submitting a bug report to get it fixed? Chris Don't waste your breath. We've been trying to tell them about this bug for almost two years and they haven't done JACK SHIIT about it. And people shouldn't try to define this problem as a Windows "limitation" as if it were a Windows p...

Can the developer finally answer this question?

Why "Advanced Nerdy Tweaks" isn't just called "Settings" and made into part of the settings page? That's what they are. Settings. Not "Nerdy" settings.

Freezing while updating group headers

I've been having this problem with the 5.0 betas for a while now and can't figure out what is causing it. When I update a group like a.b.mp3 and have it active, it will pull 20k or so headers and the program will freeze for about 5 to 30 seconds. The problem repeats every few thousand headers until ...

spiril is the creator of the program and also the programmer No, Spiril (whoever that is) is the name he (she) goes by on this forum. Is it a real person? Is his (her) name really Spiril (whoever that is)? The point of my post is that everything on this place is posts from paying customers complain...

If I read this forum today...

I wouldn't purchase the program. We should start offering odds on the date of the next beta release, date of the final version, and how much SS increases in price when Spiril (whoever that is) gets back to work.

May be we should also while we're at just stop the entire internet because a group of people use it to pirate and let's forget all the legitimate uses for the internet. I don't doubt there are some out there who would wholeheartedly agree with this statement. Is Spiril (whoever that is) spent his (...

<rant> ok, Selgan. some bread isn't open source. I think a better example we should use for open source is the Polio vaccine. Dr. Salk developed this product and he knew its importance to the success of our society so he gave it to the world royalty free. The Polio vaccine is open source. But I digr...

Seriously, why? Explain why you can't do this. We've been asking for this ever since it became a problem and nobody has responded.

Explain exactly why this is such a difficult feature to add.

Why not open source this program?

Look, obviously whoever codes this program either doesn't have the time necessary to make this the quality program it's intended to be or doesn't listen to feedback from their customers. Seeing as how Supersearch is a product that generates recurring annual revenue, why not just open source the News...

WHEN will you be able to limit the length of download folder paths? 2 Years? Version 6 beta 21? This is asinine.
