Tried to sign up, but your website is completely broken

For a long time now I've been have trouble every time I come here. Pages don't load, and I get pages that look like this: http://i.imgur.com/hKjE93I.jpg If I hit "reload" 5 or 6 times the whole page will eventually load. A couple of days ago I tried to sign up for the "Ready to Go" package, since I ...

I am not clear on this. The message posted by Spiril in that link says that anyone who had a license prior to Nov. 2012 can still get a yearly subscription at the old $29.99 price.

Is this no longer true?

The current pricing structure is ridiculous. $48 a year for Supersearch? I don't think so. Especially since they continue to ignore user requests for important features like Spam filtering.

NL doesn't auto extract RAR files if there are no PARs

I'm still using NL 5 beta 6, mainly because I don't like some of the changes to newer versions. But anyway . . . . I've noticed that NL will only auto extract the contents of a RAR if there are PAR files. If I download a RAR archive by itself (no PAR files) then the RAR is not extracted and I have t...

Thanks.

I appreciate your help.

Supersearch retention suddenly reduced

When using Supersearch in the "erotica" groups I used to be able to go back almost 1 year. Now, all of a sudden, I can't get anything older than June of this year, approximately 4 months. Searching in the other groups still seems to be OK and I can get results going all the way back to 2008. Is anyo...

Getting wrong group in Supersearch

When I put this in Supersearch:

group:alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.prog

Supersearch also returns results for the group alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.progressive.country. Is there any way to prevent Supersearch from doing that?

Re: supersearch bumped to 1050 days

Great to finally see that newsleecher is actively being worked on, keep it up. :D :D Problem is -- they are working on the wrong stuff. What good is 1050 days for Supersearch? Are there any servers that have that amount of retention? I would be really surprised if there is. Instead of adding meanin...

Either way, it really depends on your news server for the ability to actually download that older stuff. If I remember, erotica is at 90 days max Yes, my server dictates whether or not I can download stuff that shows up in Supersearch. But that's irrelevant. It was announced that Supersearch has 85...

Join NZBs.org, brilliant site for erotica posts I have found. Great. I have to go to another website to get the stuff that I should be able to get from NL & Supersearch. It's a shame that Spiril can't be bothered to FIX THE PROGRAM THAT I PAID FOR [/u]. Edit: Just tried NZBs.org -- not accepting an...

I haven't had any problems with Supersearch being "down", but there is a BIG [/u] problem with it not working properly. Supersearch is supposed to have 850 days of retention but in reality it's nowhere near that. Especially in the "erotica" category where I consistently only get about 200 days. The ...

Super Search - only 200 days

Supposedly Super Search has been expanded to 850 days. But, no matter what I try I don't get anything older than March of this year -- about 200 days.

WTF???

I am using NL 4 beta 20 which I just recently paid for. Apparently I made a big mistake.

Bread isn't Opensource. -g- Actually, bread *IS* open source. Anyone can make their own bread if they want to. Most people don't want to be bothered with making their own bread so they pay someone else to do it for them. If you go to the store and all the bread tastes terrible, what will you do? Wi...

Re: Why not open source this program?

Look, obviously whoever codes this program either doesn't have the time necessary to make this the quality program it's intended to be or doesn't listen to feedback from their customers. There definitely are some problems with the NL development process. NL 3.9 Final was released more than 2 years ...

NL still doesn't save settings!

When you make certain changes to settings, those changes are not saved until you exit NL. I ran into this problem a long time ago and I can't believe that it still hasn't been fixed ( currently running NL 4 beta 18 ). Last night I signed up with a new news-server, configured everything and started d...
