Re: Selective Repair/Rebuild

Nice idea, personally I'd prefer an extension blacklist or similar, as I often download non-rar sets.

Re: What AM I Doing Wrong?

Glad you got it working.

I usually use SuperSearch as a starting point when writing the SuperLeech filters, so I can easily see if it would match something I expect. Of course, that only helps if what I want has already been posted :)

Re: What AM I Doing Wrong?

I just did a regular SS search for "deep." (without the quotes of course) for the past 300 days and nothing relevant came up (at least nothing that's in season 5).

Are you sure this is even being posted?

Re: Newsleecher Slow Speed

First off, it's not clear from your post that you're not confusing bits and Bytes.

With 200 Mbit/s line, the maximum you should expect from Newsleecher is about 24 MByte/s (25 - overhead).

That said, i've got a 150 mbit/s line and I also get around 16-17 MByte/s max.

Re: Does it work?

Works for me, though I haven't tried with the "poster" filter. Have you tried without that? Also, keep in mind it will only match things posted after you save the settings. So you need to wait until a new post is uploaded. I also recommend you enable the "Detailed logging" in the SuperLeech settings...

Re: NL7B10 PAR2 files are moved to the top

Sadly it's not a separate option, but if you have a good internet connection it may not matter. It's baked into the "Auto PAR2 Queue Handling" in Settings -> Repair/Extract page. Disabling this prevents it from moving the "root" PAR2 file up, however it also disables pausing and unpausing the remain...

Re: Renaming PARs not working

I have a lot of this in v7b14, and no the files that it fails to rename are not damaged.

Once I see this I fire up MultiPar which renames just fine, then NL just extracts after verifying. Often 30-50% of the files in a set it fails to rename.

Yep, get them a lot from time to time, not consistently but if it happens they usually come several times.

edit: never had it before beta 13.

Don't add PAR2 files to RnE if opened instead of leeched

One small thing which is starting to become a real pain is that PAR2 files are added to RnE when you open them. If one then later leeches the whole PAR2 set, RnE thinks it already has the PAR2 file, so doesn't add it again. However because it was opened and not leeched, the PAR2 file is located in t...

Cheers. I tested it on a few of the ones which insta-crashed beta9, and it worked fine. A couple needed repair so that worked as well.

Just to clarify, that's the memory-leak "bugfix test version" of v7b8?

This is bugging me too. Worked fine for me in v7b8, but b9 gives this error on every single one :(

Re: V7 Beta 8 - Repair/extract has memory issue

Holy... yeah ok I can reproduce.

I just added about 50 par2's to my queue. Every time the RnE does a refresh, memory shoots up by 100-150MB. These are small file sets though, mostly 3-8 files per par2 set.

Re: V7 Beta 8 - Repair/extract has memory issue

It leaks tons of memory for me if I have active active downloads in the repair and extract window. Usually ends up with 2GB+ after a couple of days.
