I had loads of problems with v7 beta 6 and 7 i ended up sticking with beta 5, until i tried the unofficial beta 8 since i tried that it's been pretty good so far it maybe worth trying ,

im using 7b5 , beta 6 and 7 i found very unstable on my machine.

Working perfectly fine here, i've been using ss for a couple of months now and never had a single problem with it and nobody else has reported this problem, so maybe it's a problem at your end.

Fixed the above sort of, i had to add 11 threads to port 563 to get max speed.

I've tried the last version of powerpost, i used 4 threads and that maxed out my upload speed at 1mb a sec using port 119. If it says articles doesn't exist, it's because it's been hit by a DMCA request.
Meaning it's been deleted off the server because of a copyright claim.
It's got nothing to do with the newsleecher software.

I use beta 5 over beta 6/7 because they seems to crash alot more than beta 5

Hi, yeah i think you can use it for life from what i understand.

I don't think you can run it along side v4 but it's been many years since i used v4, and v7 betas have a ton more features than the old versions.

Try one of the v7 betas, i find v7b5 the most stable for me, and they are free to use.
