Re: SuperLeech issues?

can you write down your search criteria and delete it and make a new one. I thought of that after my previous post, but I won't know if it helped until next week. I'm also noticing that SuperSearch features are being removed (or disabled?), for example the poster:postername item now has no effect a...

Re: SuperLeech issues?

Just for an update, another new episode was posted last night, but SuperLeech is continuing to ignore this one search. An episode of another show was also posted and SuperLeech grabbed it right away, as expected.

Re: SuperLeech issues?

SuperLeech will only find new episodes since adding it to the watch list. It is not like SuperSearch where it will find existing posts. Well... I added The Expanse to the watch list a few years ago, during season 3 (hinted by my "newer than S03E03" comment) so I don't think that particular fact sho...

SuperLeech issues?

I was just looking for the latest episode of a TV series I use SuperLeech to download and discovered that SuperSearch found 17 instances of the show over the past 6 days. SuperLeech supposedly checks every hour and STILL has not found it! FWIW, I reboot my computer every day or two, so this isn't so...

Re: 8.0 Beta 4: Cannot disable spam detection

6 months and not even a comment. I guess I am the only one that sometimes downloads a password protected RAR file and is annoyed that it is *ALWAYS* flagged as spam, despite disabling that particular detection? Is there any change in hell that this will ever be fixed (or even that 8.0 will finish it...

Re: 8.0 Beta 4: Filenames end with space, then dot extension?

This still happens with MOST, but not ALL files. I'm wondering if this could be on the search end of things, in the de-obfusticated name that is passed to NL? I'm also wondering if anyone cares or if everyone is either happy with or just resigned to having most file extensions begin with SPACE DOT i...

Re: What to do if SuperSearch seems to be down ?

Is the bug from last week back again? SS has been non-functional for about the past 4 hours, according to the usage graphs. If no one can use it, then it must be down, right? Sigh. Too bad they cannot (or will not?) run the test version on a different port with an automatic failover to the known wor...

v8b4 CONSTANT application error pop-ups

I keep getting this application error popup: Bug ID: oixrhrlel Bug Data #2: Item not found If I click OK, it goes away and immediately returns. After a couple hundred attempts to make it go away, I started this post and while I was typing, NL exited (while the pop-up was displayed.) I may have added...

Re: ss not working

The status text and graphs disagree. The usage % has risen to over 60% in the past hour, but the graphs all still show 0%.

Something is definitely messed up.

Re: ss not working

I just noticed that the past 24 hours graph actually appears to show a dip BELOW 0% right when this issue started. Since then, no SS. Probably not relevant, but odd and interesting at least.

Re: ss not working

It bothers me that the status page reports server status "OK" but 0% usage for the past 8 hours or so in the graphs below. To me, 0% usage for more than a few minutes would ABSOLUTELY be an indication that the system is having issues. Remember, "the system" includes everything from the computer(s) w...

8.0 Beta 4: Filenames end with space, then dot extension?

The de-obfusticator seems to be adding a trailing space to the filenames, resulting in things like:

Code: Select all

long.movie.file.name .mkv
This isn't a huge problem, since I need to rename everything anyway, but it just seems odd. Is there some logic/reason why this is being done or is it just a mistake?

Re: 8.0 Beta 4: Temporarily paused while writing downloaded data to storage device

I don't know all of the technical performance details for the drive (D:) NL is configured to write to (which is also configured as the drive where the Windows temp folder is located), but here is its name/description: Seagate Desktop SSHD ST4000DX001 4TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Solid State Hybr...

Re: 8.0b4 - Could not create destination folder

This is probably unrelated, but I have noticed that the some of the unscrambled folder and file names are VERY LONG, sometimes beyond what is allowed for a normal path/file string. Maybe someone could come up with some sort of rule/pattern based system that would allow us to "explain" how we would l...

8.0 Beta 4: Temporarily paused while writing downloaded data to storage device

When downloading article (sets) that have already been (incorrectly) marked as spam, NL starts giving me this message and effectively reducing my download speed from its normal 120Mbps to around 45-50Mbps. This is NOT a drive issue, since NL can often download many, many GB of data at full speed wit...
