Re: Forum account deletion

I think this is the way Admin have setup this forum software (phpBB) so you have a record of sent PMs in the Sent Messages and I might be wrong but PMs still in the Outbox have yet to be delivered or in other word received/read by the recipient.

and yes I received your reply PM.

The issue is that the message does not move from Outbox to Sent Items. Attached is the PM I tried sending earlier last week.
I see that too, I have sent you a PM to test whether they are going to a recipient or just collecting in the Outbox.

let me know if you have received a Test PM from me

Re: 502 Hit Connection Limit

I've been running with 30 bots because I thought it was the recommended amount. When I said 50 connections, I think I really meant 50 parts of the files that make up a single episode of a TV show. It looked to me like the bot connections were being dropped after every individual message part was tr...

Re: 502 Hit Connection Limit

@nurbles you are probably getting kicked from the usenet server due to having too many connections, 50 would be too many The "Ready to Go" and "Pure Usenet" Plans have Up To 30 Simultaneous Connections per server and 30 Simultaneous Connections TOTAL ONLY news.newsleecher.com = Up To 30 Simultaneous...

Re: Correct syntax for searching for poster?

So, this is a problem with the client side software? I would have guessed server side. Assuming the indexing is working as planned what are the benefits of the Newsleecher approach?? no I think this is an issue with the backend server side not indexing 100% out to the stated amount of searchable da...

Re: Correct syntax for searching for poster?

if something isn't found with supersearch how would I know which group to look in? through Newsleecher? you can't, this is the limitation of a program that doesn't index correctly. You can use an online Indexer that supports the searching for Poster Names like NZBIndex the filter command Poster: ca...

Re: Correct syntax for searching for poster?

umm it seems that Newsleecher does not index the name of that poster, searching for Poster does seem very hit-n-miss and to be totally honest its a lot more miss than hit! however all is not lost you can subscribe to the group alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.prog and download the headers, or you can SuperBr...

Re: 8.0 Beta 4: Temporarily paused while writing downloaded data to storage device

like I said before I don't get anywhere near the critical errors with V7 that I get with V8, so just find the stuff with the beta and export it to an nzb then download with another newsreader. as for the errors I have experienced most of the ones you speak of, not the pausing though, however some ca...
