Re: Newsleecher not working
I'm having this problem too, on 7b7. Using NewsDemon, tried SSL and not, US and EU, all with the same disconnect issue.

Re: What to do if SuperSearch seems to be down ?
Erotica SS down AGAIN. I think newsleecher owes us some extended license time after the amount of time things haven't been working. and it seems to be working again... it would be nice to get an explanation of what's going on, and what's being done to prevent this from happening again and again in ...

Re: What to do if SuperSearch seems to be down ?
Yep, can confirm here (made another thread about this). Although scuba responded that it was working okay (it still isn't), the level of concern/help here has been a bit disappointing.weetibix wrote:oh and just for the record the xxx search is not working yet again

Re: Supersearch limited to ~30 days?!
I have just done a test - and it's working fine. What error do you get? No error, results are just capped around 33d. Tried on two different computers to ensure it wasn't a configuration problem. (Just tried again, same problem) this is a search in the "erotica" (heart) section, not general, which ...

Supersearch limited to ~30 days?!
This is the second time this seems to have happened in the past couple of weeks - supersearch (at least the erotica section) is limited to 30-ish days. For example, I've done a search for "lola" at 2000d, and the oldest result is 33.6d old... I find it hard to believe that word didn't exist past 33....

Re: What to do if SuperSearch seems to be down ?
Still down....seems as though they don't care....I'll be jumping ship shortly if the apathy continues...I'm not paying for something that isn't being delivered....sad really cos it used to be good Yep, my renewal is up in a few months. Even an acknowledgement that something is awry would be helpful...

Supersearch Gap?
There seems to be a supersearch gap, unless I'm doing something wrong... I see results from 0-30d and 400-2600d, but nothing in that 31-399 (ish) gap. Anyone else seeing this? (it isn't cutting off because of maximum results returned) It seems to have just cropped up recently...

Hangs and pauses on header retrieval?
On v6.5b3, Win8. NL seems to hang on header retrieval if I haven't done so for a few days (so there are >2-3million per large group). The program becomes unresponsive, though it seems like they are sometimes trickling into NL in the background. (the window shows as "not responding"). Other times, NL...

This is getting pretty close to unusable here... :( I'm using Windows 8 x64 & NL is stable with no errors. I wonder what is causing this error ? Wish I knew. The only workaround so far is updating one group at a time (which obviously gets tedious). They must've received hundreds upon hundreds of er...
