Configuration got rolled back some how?

I'm super confused right now. I was on 7.0 Final, and I didn't think anything of it, but I had a system crash from a resource exhaustion problem yesterday. I rebooted the machine, but didn't restart NL right away. When I started it this morning, I realized after a few minutes that my Newsleecher has...

Side by side Install with 7?

Since this is a major release, I think I'd rather not blow away my existing 7 install to try this. Especially given some of the changes I've gathered have been made based on other posts in here. Can version 8 be installed without interfering with the existing 7 install i.e. do a side-by-side install...

Stripped down interface just to SuperSearchm esp. OS agnostic one

So, I'll be honest here, I only keep NL around because SuperSearch is still great. At this point though, I've long since moved to other apps to handle the download portion. I think it would be fantastic(and much less work for you) if you just produced a program whose purpose was to be an interface t...

Add abiltiy to specify category when exporting to NZB; and mark as exported/read

It'd be pretty nice if we could specify a category(or even better, pick from a configurable drop down of categories) when exporting to NZB. I've found for various reasons (performance, and only having to maintain automatic filing of things) it's great to use Newsleecher to locate things, but export ...

Undo a startup loading defaults

So I got into this error loop that NL wouldn't stop throwing. I read in another post about starting with F12 and not loading defaults. This appears to have loaded a backup of an old config (looking in the AppData folder)...which apparently was super old. 2 years in fact. Not helpful in the least. I'...

Clearing the download queue seems to have done it.
Thanks!

NL 7b14 can't seem to connect/stay connected

Now that I'm able to get my NL registered again, I'm finding it doesn't seem to be able to connect or stay connected to my news service. I'm not sure where the problem is. NL just seems to try and connect, and then disconnects. I get a continually stream of "disconnected from server" messages, with ...

Nevermind, found it in the app...I never noticed the Releases button before in the config screens.

Re: NL 7 b12 - Can't register

Affecting me also, no members area access, and b12 won't register. I'm going to try the rollback to b11. I know my password is correct, as I'm sure others do as well. I use a password manager, there's no way I'm entering it wrong.

N7B10 Pause timer not working

The "pause until" feature doesn't seem to be working. I haven't tried the arbitrary amount, but the 10 minute and 1 hour ones don't seem to work. They pause it, but it acts like manual pause and doesn't unpause by itself.

Re: SuperLeech appears to be working - first time in weeks

What version are folks using?
It generally works for me, but I specifically rolled back a few versions months ago because Superleech wasn't working in the newest betas. I'm on 7.0b4, which I found seems to work.

Is it working on the most current beta for anyone?

Re: superleech not working atm?

I've been reverting back to find one that works. 7.0 b4 just sucked up some things on my SuperLeech list...that one appears to be working, based on my sample size of one success.

Re: PLEASE change this... [CTRL] + cursor right/left hotkey

I don't have other specific items, double click mouse behavior and this item were the two I was aware of off the top of my head. As I said in my thread though, just as a general design thing, I feel like taking over default OS UI actions is a bad thing in general. And it seems like I stumble into th...
