Version History Page

The version history page seems to have disappeared... When you go to topic 4848 you get a message saying that it no longer exists... EDIT: Just tried the other link on the newsleecher "News & Log" tab and that one works. The "version history" link at the top left of the same tab no longer works (at ...

Re: NL 5.0 B1

Drag and Drop of par2 files to the "Repair'n'Extract Drag and Drop Bar" in tab "Explorer" is broken. The bar is not a drop target any more. ... Still, since multi tabbed super search looks almost exactly like chrome, I'd expect CTRL+W to close a tab like in every modern browser That'll be implement...

Since updating to NL 4.0 b16, I start NewsLeecher and after loading up the program immediately closes. The splash screen comes up and then NewsLeecher shows, I just about get to click on something before the program closes without warning. Is there a log that I could look at to see what's wrong? I d...

I'm rather certain that this problem is to do with the block size... I've been downloading two sets of files. Each set has par2 files along with the RARs and the size of the files in each set is 50mb. The first set of files is: - ~11gb in total - fully downloaded (and has been for a while) - verifyi...

I use Comodo Personal Firewall (free ver) and have no troubles using NewsLeecher. Also, F-PROT anti virus seems to give no REAL troubles. I sometimes see one of the temporary files (partial downloads) reported to have a virus and quarentined, but it doesn't hinder NewsLeecher at all. It seems that N...

Okay, after another restart I attempted to load NewsLeecher again. It looked like it had frozen at the same point, but when I looked in Task Manager, I noticed that GetPopupInfo.exe was using over 90% CPU. This is a program installed with dbPowerAmp (multimedia encoder) and it adds fields containing...

Newsleecher freezes when starting/after windows recovery

Hi, I have a problem with NewsLeecher - when starting the program it gets to the blue "Launching Newsleecher" screen and displays the status "..:: Initializing ~ Launching ::.." and "hang on while loading". This has only started happening since my computer blue screened (BSOD) and Windows "recovered...

Thank you for the reply Smudge. Except the key you mentioned, I found a second key in: "HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-527237240-113007714-854245398-1004\Software\Crystal Art Software" So, there are two registry entry's involved. Is that correct or can the second one be removed? Regards, Noedels. I believe th...

im not so sure simply because you never know what files are going to be corrupt. you (or newsleecher) could assume that a par2 with 12 blocks will download fully and have 12 blocks available, but if something goes wrong then the files wont repair of course, if NL gets par2 integrated rather than usi...

cache cleanup

A rather useful feature for us "header downloaders" would be an option to clear the cache garbage for the entire cache rather than just one group. I'm subscribed to a number of groups, and at the moment the best thing I can do is set the headers downloading before I go out or to bed and then highlig...

#2 sounds like a good request, though i thought that i'd read it was in the to-do list somwehere... oh well, must've been wrong as for #1, can you really be bothered to look at a list of xxx (im sure it would be so many hundred) parts with the server that they're located on. If you had 3 servers in ...
