Re: New version?
Read just a few posts up. I am not sure if anyone noticed, but: October 5, 2018 (Yes we are still alive here!) During the next couple of days, the SuperSearch search service might be a bit unstable, as we are working on implementing major improvements to the search engine that will lead to much bett...

Re: New version?
Well, the Newsleecher forums are being ignored as well now it seems. Spammers have infiltrated us.

Re: Newsleecher V8 Beta Release - Timeline
I already cancelled mine. I went with Sabnzbd and XSnews, located in the Netherlands. Even though the server is located in the Netherlands, I am easily maxing out my paltry 500mbit connection, which I was never able to do with Newsleecher's service. This is probably due to the fact that Newleecher i...

Re: New version?
I have unfortunately canceled my subscription. After many years, it is time to go with a new server, a new software. Lack of transparency, lack of updates are making me unsure if this service will continue. Sorry.

Re: Newsleecher V8 Beta Release - Timeline
The last post in the news tab in Newsleecher is from Jan 11th of this year. I am still paying for software updates, but haven't seen any? V7 is nice, but it would be nice to see some activity...

Returned to Usenet-Confused
Hello. I have recently returned to Usenet(Newleecher Ready to go ROCKS), and now all I see in the groups are what I assume to be encrypted subject lines. I have no idea how to decode them so I can read the subject, or where to find a guide. Any help anyone can provide is welcome. Where do I start? I...

AHA! Okay. The auto hide delay is about 2 seconds, maybe 1, but seems to be long, that's why it would not hide, I didn't wait long enough! Sure enough, they are auto hiding. Can that delay be shortened? 500ms? 10ms? 0 ms? What do you think of allowing the option to remove the text next to the icons ...

The lighter colored icon on the bottom right, first icon, click it. It has a tooltip that says "Use this button to toggle view compacting...". I have clicked it many times, yet the panels below do not autohide. Maybe it's a bug? Not working? Or am I not understanding what you mean? http://s11.postim...

Re: Autohide Is Beautiful!
Isn't the right-aligned 'compacting' buttons on the groups browser and SS toolbars what you're looking for ? It is a step in the right direction. I would like to be able to have those same small icons, without the text. As for the left hand group browser panel, and the left hand Supersearch panel, ...

Autohide Is Beautiful!
Personally I think the interface is very improved. The compact modes are extremely nice and space saving, the autohide on the connections browser is OUTSTANDING. Love it. The interface looks a lot more clean. Can we auto hide the Groups Browser on the articles tab, and now the new Bookmarks/Searches...
