Where are yEnc files stored?

Where does NewsLeecher store its scrap files?
I'm not talking about the files in the Temp folder which can easily configured in NewsLeecher.

I want to know where all those small downloaded yEnc messages go before the get used to construct, say, a rar file that gets moved to the Temp folder.

Re: SuperSearch filter : file size range

Not sure I understand you but go to the SS tab double tap F3 or click the filter icon right of the search box.

That should do as you want but this functionality is broken. I does something sometimes but never as it should work :-(

Re: Speeddrop

Did you change the number of download threads/bots?

Sometimes ISP cap certain traffic. If you are not doing so alreay using an SSL connection might solve things.

RnE still very bugged

This bug exists since version 3. in finals and in betas. In Win XP and Win 7

RnE seems to work fine with a small queue.
If the queue grows it just gives up. It starts a task and stays at 0% forever. Not even restarting NL helps.
The result is that I have the repair and extract half of my downloads.

Where are the setting saved?

Once in a while NL crashes and I have to reconfigure all the settings. The only thing that survives a crash is the download queue. a] Where is the configuration stored? b] Is there a way within NL to import a backed up configuration or do I have to restore the settings by copying files from my perso...

Why all the secrecy about the fees? Vote with your wallet is the best thing you can do. IMO, Since it was decided that the promised 50% is now not enough, give them 0% instead. That's the route I was forced to take too. Making a promise and at the very best they grant that promise when begging suppo...

Re: Other Considerations

Does going to a monthly rate for the package someone mean that you are "renting" the client every month, and that you don't really "own" it anymore? Will there be a software mechanism in place for Newsleecher to check the client license every month and shut it down if necessary? That's how SS works...

Enter archive password when during/at start of leeching

Quite a few archives are password protected.
I know those passwords so I would like to enter them so NL will extract the archive for me.

Re: Poster ignore or Filter do not work

Any timeline on when these features will work? Not this year :( NL is only developed during January/Februari. The rest of the year áll you can expect is something extremly minor. Sad but true. Group and poster filters need a lot more work. Try for example to seach for several posters and ignore cer...

Hide sets without PAR blocks (anti spam)

Most spam posts are just 1 rar file.
It would be nice to filter them out by checking if there is also a PAR set.

I would prefer the files wouldn't be paused but moved to the end of the queue.

Or even better an option: Leech with password.
Several things I download have passwords; so it would be nice if I could enter those passwords before/during download.

Hi you could use a diskcache program. I have the best experience with this one: http://www.romexsoftware.com/en-us/fancy-cache/index.html 60 day demo. Still beta but very good. It's not really a RAMdisk but it greatly reduces your HD I/Os Well worth an hour of your time to investigate  Please ...
