I've had the same problem and message but it was because the download folder I had specified in the Options did not exist. So instead of saying Download folder not found it would give me that error. Not sure also about that but you might also try with a short folder name with no spaces in it. I can'...

besides the great news that it has been added to the alpha version, could this be solved by unchecking the "Small articles to top of queue"? (in this case par2 file...)

Yes that's what I have noticed... but it's not that bad. Good thing is that it does not take too long to verify the files so the HD is not overwhelmed like it would with system_access+download+repair or +extract.

So it's definitely a good method. Thx Smudge.

Scan Default Download Folder for par2 files

Hello!! ok I know it might sound redundant with the Repair'n'Extract monitor but it's not... I have a shitty computer and sometimes I can't download and run RnE at the same time. So I switch RnE off and download everything - then reactivate RnE again. Thing is sometimes I forget to reactivate it... ...

nope, it does make sense.

You should not complain that it's not user friendly, because it's beta version. And people are not complaining, they are reporting bugs.

You are using a beta version and complaining that it does not behave like a final. Hence my comment: use a final.

listen mate, I completely understand your position here. Same for me, I was a bit annoyed by the list of things to do, but they were quite easy after all. If I can just tell you one thing: it's beta release. What I mean is that it's not a plug and play release... and hence takes some tweaking and bu...

well if you follow the instructions here you should be all good.

Did it and it works fine for me, setting different directories for data so that I can run both v3.9 and v4.
Tempdir is the same though but it's no problem.

Cosmetic - SuperSearch dropdownlist and focus

Hey Great work on the version 4, much smoother! One thing though: in the supersearch screen, the box where you enter the text has a strange behavior: If you set the focus on the Max Days box for instance, then directly hit the arrow (for the dropdown function) of the text search box, then it will re...

The RAM disk will not work as the files will not be dumped to the local HD when the RAM disk is full. Wolf I see your point, but there is one thing happening in between, which is that files are verified after being downloaded to the disk. I like the idea of using the RAM as a cache, although a compu...

Enhanced "Destination folder" auto suggestion

Dear Santa... I like the featre, it's a cool thing, but the suggestions are not that great. Apparently, it will name the folder after the first file in the selection; but what would be great is to name the folder after the first matching characters in the whole selection. Example: thread 1 - title 1...

That would indeed be a great addition.

Being in a different time zone, I'm at work when interesting stuffs are posted; so I have to wait to be back home before I can download it.
Having the web UI would simply be great...
