Re: 3.9 Beta 1 with Repair'n'Extract

What about files that are downloaded, but RNE shows them as missing, even if they are verified as healthy and are still in the directory along side the rest of the files. NL will show the file as downloaded in the Articles Tab and in SuperSearch. It seems to happen after the last file is verified a...

No, sorry, thank you for your time. I must admit the hibernate option of the process you described had already occured to me as something potentially useful. I just prefer to keep purchased GUI programs and hacked batchfiles separate where possible... :) Andre Lol, batch files are just bog standard...

I can't confirm anything, as I'm just an ordinary punter like yourself, trying to find constructive ways of working around bugs until Spiril fixes them. You'll need to ask Spiril yourself. I actually prefer using this batch file (with poweroff.exe) because 1) when hotkeyed, it's quicker to start tha...

OK, so then problem solved. Since the Shutdown when Empty option doesn't work properly with RnE anyway, just stop using it until Spiril provides a fix. In the meantime, let Windows do the power management, or use poweroff.exe: http://users.pandora.be/jbosman/poweroff/poweroff.htm Or to quit Newsleec...

I've never seen the behaviour described by you in 3 (perhaps you should uncheck the timestamp option), but the others have been reported many times. As for the rest, naming extract folders after download folders is on the request list, this would work well with Leech > Specify, I think (like AutoUnp...

It's difficult to know what exactly the bug is here, as i've never seen this reported before. If it was a generally reproducable bug, I'm sure the forum would be flooded with similar complaints. I can only think that there's something amiss on your system. Have you formatted as NTFS or FAT32? Is any...

Read the first post of the stickied thread: http://www.newsleecher.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12628 I have, but it doesn't seem to cover this case? (i.e. downloading multiple files which are not archives and then NL auto-deleting them). Could you be a bit more specific as to which of the 50+ numbere...

Not sure if the referred bug-list posting actually covers what's happening here or not? It just happened to me too - and with 10GB of files, so the Recycle Bin did not catch 'em all :( This morning, I finished downloading a batch of .TS video files which I'd queued along with some PAR2s which the s...

well for example, the first .r04 file didnt upload completely, so the poster uploaded a second one that was complete... thats the most common way ive seen it done I'm not sure that any unrar programme could deal with that pretty unique situation. The same goes with downloading two versions of the s...

Re: R'N'E bug when par set created incorrectly

Not sure if this has been suggested already: Suggestion: Could you set the file to be extracted to a specific folder based on a keyword? This is kind of implied by Request 15 in the first post. :) i have the following problem quite often: RnE creates empty endless folders because it cannot move/ext...

I have not seen this in the bug/feature list. I put my nzb in an nzb import folder for newsleecher to import. Newsleecher downloads the file into c:\Incomplete\<name of the nzb file>. Afte using R'nE, I'd like the file to be unpacked into c:\complete\<name of the nzb file> It is only this last part...

I see there's been a lot of feedback added to this thread since I last checked in here. I'll mention a couple of things I've noticed since then. * The R'n'E features generally work nicely but the *.1 files that are generated for the automatic repairs are unnecessarily left behind. * I'd like to see...

Hehe, I think someone just volunteered themselves to take care of the 3.9b2 thread (here's looking at *you* MC :D). Shouldn't be too long in coming now, I would think. When it does, we can track bugs in this thread maybe (you can edit your title). Mods permitting, of course. :)

Have you tried deleting the entries from the RnE and Queue tabs first, then re-starting NL? Also you could try moving it to a different folder, that may shake things loose. There's also the handy Unlocker utility: http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/ Edit; oh, I notice you edited while I was posting. :...
