Doesn't get my vote - there are more important issues to get sorted than translating NL into a dying language  otherwise I would be asking for a Spanish translation (please note the correct use of capitalisation when spelling a language in English, thank-you). I'll even go as far as voting for...

I agree, the SuperSearch function seems to be taking priority over other parts of v2 and more important things like optimization are being left behind. I find it annoying how NL grinds to a halt everytime an article is finished, and also (as is happening while I write this) when downloading large 15...

Wanting to keep this request alive as I'm fed up of having to re-enter missed downloads (incomplete even though the server is initially reporting they're all there) in order to try again later.

If a download fails the queue should reflect this not just delete it :x

In addition to this, NL really really needs to support "only download x days worth of headers" :x If you are searching for a binary release that could only have come out within the last 5 days, there is no way to say only download the last 5 days headers. On a large binaries group you cannot simply ...

Yeah thanks smart arse none of knew about that :x

It's 5 days old and it specifically says in the NL error message to report the issue! Which we are all doing  and not bitching about it.

I'm sure it will be fixed shortly.

Minor point - Connect button

Is it just me or am I the only one that thinks the "Connect" button is confusing by not changing to "Disconnect" when you've connected? I'm sure this throws everyone off a when they first get started :? Also, why is you can't make changes to a server whilst connected? I appreciate that you can make ...

SS and proxies

Is there anyway that a future version NL could help to allow access to SS via our proxy server. At the moment I can do this for newsgroups because I can use a port tunnel program to relay the connection - I simply tell NL to use the port tunnel as the newgroup server and the port tunnel takes care o...

what port does the search run on? I haven't been able to search for anything (comes up with an error message) and I suppose it has something to do with my job blocking that port. any ideas?? -redfive What error do you get? Are you able to load the NewsLeecher 'News' page at startup? I have the same...

Personally I think there should be separate "Open" and "View" options with "Open" using the Windows association, in which case NFO would open the System Information program (yes, that's the default for Windows and shouldn't really be changed if you need to be to support users who send them to you fo...

How does one recover from this error as I have upgraded from B18 to B20 and I still get it?

What file can I delete?
