Re: Process space in 32-bit
Nice to know that it 64-bit will fix this... unfortunately, 64-bit isn't an option for me just yet  fyi, the problem on 32-bit isn't that you don't have all 4 Gigs of RAM (you do, but your video card, etc., has to use some of the address space). On a 32-bit system, processes only get 2 Gigs of...

This is a way too common problem that, as far as I know, has still not been so much as commented on by the developer. I did a lot of testing and found that it's not the number of articles in a group that matters, it's the number of posted files (no, they are not the same thing). More explanation her...

Re: 3.95b3 download in group folders not working correctly
If you select this option, select a few articles and do a CTRL+S, most of the articles wind up in the main download directory, and not the subdirectories that get created. This has happened to me a few times, the problem seems to be with long directory names. By default, the folder name when using ...

Spiril claims no one will need it for "consumer type apps" and only "servers" gain extra productivity. Or he cant program it to adequtly use a 64 bit namespace?... http://www.newsleecher.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=78242#78254 Read that thread again. I think it's safe to say that the developer knows ...

I've been having this problem also. I see a lot of threads about it and most go without even a single reply from anyone, and none of them have had any answers or solutions. I've done a little testing and found out a few things. NewsLeecher is able to download and save alt.binaries.hdtv, which has ab...

This happens to me also, with Giganews. I think I may know why NewsLeecher is doing this. Since Giganews updated to 200 days retention, I think they are actually re-adding OLD posts that had been deleted already, so that they can fill-up to 200 days sooner than just waiting 80 days for new posts. If...

Re: To-Do List
There is a NZB search site BinIndex - www.binindex.net - that will list all the groups containing cross-posted articles. :) Thanks for the link, but I don't think that solves my problem. I really don't care what groups they have been crossposted to, I just want NewsLeecher to mark them all as read ...

Re: To-Do List
* Crosspost detective. Find out which groups specific articles have been crossposted to. I can't fathom that I'm the only one who desperately needs this feature... Assuming it will be able to mark crossposted articles as read in all groups when you mark them in any other group, you won't have to br...
