Leech Smart will create the directory name from the subject of the post. Leech Specify will ask you for the directory name, using the subject as the base name. The Repair and Extract Manager then has configuration options to extract the files to specifically named dirs using matching rules of either...

SuperLeech will only find new episodes since adding it to the watch list. It is not like SuperSearch where it will find existing posts.

As for the '-.sample' being added to your SuperSearch queries, you must have it configured in the settings to always include that sample text to all queries.

Are you importing NZB files? There is a setting in the NZB section to connect to the server upon importing a NZB.

Sometimes a news provider has to reset the group header count so you don't see it increase. Try deleting the group's cache by right-clicking on the group name in the Manager screen.

NZB files don't contain the download directory paths. You probably have/had settings that when you imported the NZB, it set up the download path based on group or subject keywords.

Perhaps one of your configuration files is corrupted. You can hold down F12 when starting the application and it will ask if you wish to load your configuration files. Start with not loading the General Settings File by answering No and it will launch NewsLeecher with the default settings. Immediate...

According to that log entry, you have all of the headers that the server has. Range 230.644.838 to 239.583.671 . Local Cache Pointer is at: 239.583.671 Perhaps something happened on the news server where that group isn't being updated. Have you tried asking the support of your news service provider?

First I'm guessing that this post was supposed to be a reply to this thread? I understand that the current implementation is not idea for your situation. I'll move this thread to the Wishlist section to see if the developer is able to add an option to append the filename with a user-defined characte...

First, please do not post details of the files you are downloading.

Most likely this is due to the articles being removed from the server. Please see the Error: 430 - No Such Article FAQ for more info.

Most likely the file contains invalid XML. NewsLeecher is a bit more strict than some of the other news clients.

Could you send one of these NZB files to support@newsleecher.com so that the developer can take a look at it to make sure it isn't a NewsLeecher issue?
