Re: Newsleecher won't start

Sorry, missed the bit where you said clean install of WIndows 10.
That's really odd. NL just works for me. If you are using NL 4 though it simply may not be compatible.
I am using the latest beta, are you not able to use that?

Re: Newsleecher won't start

Corrupt file in AppData\NewsLeecher most likely. Close NL, rename the folder, try and start it again.

Re: CAPITAL letters/red - new posts?

Do you have any security software installed which might be intercepting the traffic?

I would say, if nobody else comes up with an answer, fire an email off to NL support, they might know something I don't. It seems weird to me.

Re: CAPITAL letters/red - new posts?

That's very odd, can you post what the logfile is saying? Please remove any filename details for privacy purposes etc.

Re: CAPITAL letters/red - new posts?

CAPITAL letters means the download is INCOMPLETE, the reason you are getting it in the new postings is because they haven't yet been fully posted yet. Wait a little while and then download again.

Re: Supersearch Gap?

Just did a test and I can see results between 30d and 300d OK. If you have something (or a group of content) in mind which this is occuring for you could PM Spiril what it is and he will check it out.

Re: What's happened to Newsleecher?

If you can provide as much info as possible to Spiril etc, he will try his best to help. I know that from my own experience. Sometimes the bugs are quite esoteric so you need to help him to help you as much as you can.

If in doubt, throw more hardware at it... :)
I think it is more to do with the fact that the new hardware will have a new OS etc etc too... :)

Must admit, I have been noticing for about half a year how much stuff is incomplete. Is a bit of a joke. Will definately be moving myself once my allowance is used up.

Yes everything is fine at NL as far as I know but they might be winding down a bit for Christmas holidays, or maybe they missed your response... Maybe drop them another email.

Re: Mouse Over should determine mouse wheel scroll

In every other Windows compliant program – Mouse Over location determines what scrolls in the active program when the mouse scroll wheel is moved. Mouse wheel movement should NOT scroll the last clicked component. Erm, I am quite sure that is not the case. The programs you have mentioned, as you sa...
