Destroyer, are you still unable to limit your bw down to 10% of your maximum speed? Lips Hi Lips, Yes im still getting the same problem. When i slow it down to anything past 65KB/s it stays at 65KB/sec overall but it only puts the speed into one connection and leaves the others at a very slow speed...

It varies from 130KB/sec to 150KB/sec.

Im also getting a small problem on the new Beta (doesent bother me though). I have max connection speed set to 150KB/sec and it will not limit any lower than 65KB/sec

I and like keeping headers a while after I delete them. Also i sometimes switch news server so it would be handy to adjust the retention so ones that are probably not available are in red though when i go back to giganews i can still download them

I don't know if this has been covered elsewhere but are there any plans to set the retention but to keep the headers. i.e put all the headers which are a certain age old in red but dont delete them ?

The parts will dissapear after they pass 24 days (though there might be a few hours each way depending on how they have got it set up). What you will need to do in newsleecher (if you want the headers to stay as long as they actually exist on the server) is go into Options > then group caching. Set ...

Mine takes a while to load up. My group database is over 2GB and the file manager folder is huge, i also had a few things in the que today and it took a bit longer to load up. Mine still takes a while when starting up. If i remove the groups from the folder is gets quicker. It does at first check what groups you are subscribed to, perhaps it could be that ?

First thing that comes to mind is do you have a big databse of headers like over 1GB, mine has started to take a little while when loading recently as im subscribed to a lot of groups
