Could well be newsleecher servers but it could also be your ISP. Are all you guys on BT/BT infinity for example?

Yeah it's not a very accurate representation of the weather, as I'm in the UK, it should be a tide mark about 3/4 up the Window and loads of sludge at the bottom.

What I would do: -If an article download is in progress, let that finish, and then pause the remainder of articles so that the only items in the queue are not partially downloaded. -Close NL down on the source computer -Backup the entire %AppData%\Newsleecher folder to somewhere on your computer in ...

I think all things considered this is pointing to an unusual configuration on your machine/connection rather than NewsLeecher.

Might be one for Spiril but I would imagine they are not used in the final file

How fast is your download speed? Unless it is faster than 100Mbps, I wouldn't worry about where this folder is.

Which version of newsleecher are you using?

If the beta... try installing the final first.... launch it and do a few things, then install the Beta again and see what happens.

Have you installed all Windows Updates? Have you updated to Windows 8.1?

It's been a while since I ran into this because I now make sure the path length is very short - but before moving away from Leech Smart I seem to recall most of the failures were when RnE is trying to extract/repair it. Maybe the check is correct for the downloading but not for what RnE does with it?

Have to agree with this suggestion - I never use leech smart as I'm afraid I'll come back and see loads of red in the NL log. Even if the folder name was rudely chopped down to fit I'd be happier than wasted time and bandwidth.

How long did you send the email? I am sure they won't mind if you send another one just in case the first one got lost in transit :)
