Bottom left near the speed graph there is a slider.

I think you need to telephone Time Warner and let them know they are misdirecting bot traffic. Personally if this was my ISP sending me to those pages I'd be extremely annoyed with them. I think they are just being clumsy.

I wonder how easy it would be for Spiril to implement a setting to enable more caching/memory usage within NL itsself? This would save you the trouble of going to a RAMDisk etc.

What is your internet connection speed? I'd have thought NL on a modern computer could cope up with a 200Mbps connection.

Why do you want to save this stuff to ramdrive? I don't see the benefit of doing so.

Upgrade to the newest newsleecher beta version if applicable. Then backup the whole c:\users\(your username)\appdata\roaming\newsleecher directory, restore it on the new PC, and everything should transfer fine.

Is this definitely your ISP that are doing this?

Try downloading with the speed throttling turned on in newsleecher, see if the issue is the same.

It could possibly be a coincidence. Regardless if this was me I'd be phoning the ISP up and asking them what the hell they are playing at.

Please send an email to support using the support forms - Support are not going to discuss billing issues on a public forum for obvious reasons.

They will get back to you but remember it is the weekend now so it might be until Monday or so.

There was an issue in older versions due to 32bit limitations, or something like that. 3.9 may be affected. I would try updating to a later version.

I've never had any major problems with the betas, inc the v6 line... So I would say, go for the latest beta, and see how you get on with it.
