Ctrl-Y (Leech Specify) - Why is Reset Button Needed?

In 3.x of Newsleecher, whenever I highlighted a bunch of files, and hit ctrl-y to download them into a specific sub folder that I would name, the newsgroup folder would always be the one where the files reside. That's no longer the case, and I have to press the reset button in order to ensure that t...

I agree that making article grouping an option would be helpful. I also would like to see shift+page down available for scrolling. In addition, where are the other options that used to exist along with "show old" on the articles tab? Can they please be restored? Thanks.

Same here, with the 4.5 beta - any luck in finding the cause? Thanks.

Constant Error - queue missing chrdrn

I'm getting "queue missing chrdrn" on a very constant basis, including immediately at start-up of the app. Everything seems to work OK, but the constant error boxes are very annoying.

Has anyone else encountered and solved this error?

Thanks

This is becoming a bit of a "holy war" - obviously there are strong opinions on both sides. Having said that, I don't think you need to look too far out to see that 64 bit is where things are going. Microsoft released Vista as a 64-bit OS for consumer use, and Windoze 7 will likely improve on that. ...

Ctrl+Y truncating directory name

I like to use ctrl+y to download selected files into a specific directory. What I'm finding is that if the name of the directory would include dashes (eg "05-06-08"), then the directory name that ctrl-y presents is missing anything to the right of the first dash (eg "05-"). It looks like its a simpl...

I'm getting this as well, it's really frustrating. How hard can it be to recognise when not all the headers have been downloaded (it does after all know how many headers to expect!) and retry if it doesn't get the expected amount. I'm also encountering the same issue - I can pretty much predict it....

Beta9 Bug

I tend to get "An application bug has occurred" regularly if I'm flipping from newsgroup "A" to newsgroup "B" if I started updating my headers in newsgroup "B". At that point, my item window goes away, and goes solid grey.
