think this is an older issue but just in case. basically, some people create par files then rename the originals rars before upload. newsleecher seems to only look at the filenames whereas quickpar will check the files in that folder and repair/rename them as necessary. every now and then i look and...

this morning it's leaving our the rar file

but getting the rest (r01,r02 etc) for some reason. if i supersearch for it then it has the rar available and i can manually grab it. just not sure why it's not getting all the files itself

from the wording of it, i though the number of searches per hour would be the minimum, not 0. if i add 1 thing to search, then it searches. if i add 2 then it's 8 searches per hour needed - but instead of doing 6 then not doing the other 2 searches, it does no searches at all? i could lighten the se...

as above - also some ways of skipping dodgy sets (e.g ones without the 1st rar file - these are usually not uploaded and created by the par files).

also, after downloading the 1st rar, if it's passworded to check a txt file of codes to try?

i do have "show old" selected but i always delete headers from cache as i go i didn't purge headers or anything like that. i simply didn't get any for a few days then got them all in one go it seems. it hasn't happened since so possibly astraweb being a dick? as far as only downloading headers goes ...

that's why we need the next ver of NL with the auto download functionality PDQ :)

either that, or for nzb sites DIAF since they're the ones alerting the copyright holders anyway

i;d also like to change the min update time for headers to 30 mins instead of 2 hours. if i could get that going then i'd possibly have a chance to leech before things are removed :o
