Re: Temporaily paused while writing download data to the....

I think that this is due to Newsleecher multiple bots accessing the drive at the same time. I have a Gigabit Internet connection, and this problems is very apparent when you reach 300 Mbs download speed, limiting it even with fast drives. I can only go above this speed using a RAID system that works...

Show Prior Matches grabs focus

Hi, Since a few days, the "Show Prior Matches" in the supersearch tab at some moment grabs the keyboard focus, and there is no way to enter anything in the search box. Each time you use any key on the keyboard, the "Show Prior Matches" toggles. The only way to fix it is to restart Newsleecher. I'm u...

Re: blurry font

Setting the scaling at 100% makes things too small on my 2560x1600 monitor, and several Windows programs (like Computer Management) do not allow to disable scaling!

So, at the moment, it's not possible to prevent blurry fonts for everything when you have a high resolution monitor.

Re: blurry font

Windows 10 blurs some apps when using high DPI settings. If it's your case, you can disable "display scaling" in the Properties->Compatibility panel displayed when right clicking on the Newsleecher icon. W10 is really bad with high DPI screens, even some Microsoft programs (like Computer Management)...

Maximum number of Search Results

Hi,

Since today, I'm getting the "Maximum number of Search Results" message with a very reasonable query ("web-dl -zip -mp4 -x264") over 4 days that yields a few results only.

I'm using 7.0beta7 on Windows 7 x64, this was never an issue before with the same query.

Re: Updated Folder Selection Dialog

Hi, I found an anomaly, not sure if it's specific to this version, or something I did wrong: 1) I clicked on an NZB file while Newsleecher was not in connected mode. 2) A bunch of files were queued to my default download directory B:\a.b.h. 3) I changed the download directory by right-cliking on the...

Gee, you took your sweet time to satisfy my query, almost 40 minutes! :)

I wish all vendors were that fast, thanks!

Faster PAR client and disk handling

The integrated PAR Newsleecher client has been improving regularly, thank you for that. However, it fells short in one aspect: I have a very fast connection, which allows to download at 350 Mbs. If use an external PAR client like MultiPAR, the download being done on a very 500MBs raid system, Newlee...

Updated Folder Selection Dialog

Hi, Newsleecher is still using old XP style folder selection dialogs. It would be nice if it was updated to use the common file dialog one, the one with the Favorites on its left panel. It's really nicer, and more usable. This: http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/CppShellCommonFileDialog-17b20409 shows s...

Ok ok, you get it as you wish :) http://www.newsleecher.com/nlufc1401191.exe The "listview font name" & "listview font size" settings have been re-introduced. I had to make some changes to make the settings work properly, due to the new scaling functionality again, so if there're any issues with th...

Re: Font is too small with 6.5 Beta 1

I guess I'm just used to a certain font... While Spiril's reply shows sincere interest in the users of the software, I still just like the personal feel of the font and size that we could previously choose. Just my opinion. Thank you. After using the new corrected version, I must agree with you. Th...

One additional remark: the font in the log window is mangled:
