Even on lower retention i get nothing (i use giganews too).It must be SS.

The current retention of SuperSearch is 189.8 days in general and 74.8 days in erotic.

Yes SuperSearch builds the index from constant newsfeeds from Giganews and Newshosting but due to the number of articles added in relation to the amount of RAM in the server, it won't be able to have the same high retention.
Please be aware of and use the following pages...
Services Status Page : SuperSearch and Usenet Access server status, retention, server load, indexing time, etc.
Support Request Form : Use this if you have a problem with billing or account status. The forum is only for NewsLeecher application issues.
