Strange results from Supersearch with 4.0 beta 20

Post by rix643 » Mon Aug 16, 2010 9:49 pm

When I search for "once upon a time in the west" (without the quotes) I get all kind of articles but none which meet the criteria, for example:
Aya MP3 WMA AAC MP2 WAV OGG M4A AMR Audio Converter 1.2.0 - "Aya MP3 WMA AAC MP2 WAV OGG M4A AMR Audio Converter 1.2.0.rar"

When I press the Go-button again, I get a completely different result set.

No problems with 3.9 though.

What's happening?

I had this yesterday, and I'm still getting this behaviour today.

What's the issue?

I too am having issues all of a sudden with SuperSearch in 4.0 B20.

Earlier today I was happy as a lark while doing some 6 Max Days searches for certain items. It was working just fine and I was able to DL some great items.

Then about 20 minutes ago, I tried to do a 1 Max Day search for ".flac" items (which I typically do on a daily basis) and it sits there for a very long period of time and sometimes will even spit out a response... but it is nothing but random crap that has absolutely nothing to do with what I asked it to search for! The latest one shows me items that are listed as anywhere from .5 days old to 847.4 days old and they are anything but ".flac" files.

I see nothing posted on the front page with any problems with SuperSearch yet. I tried rebooting my system thinking it might be a cache thing, but I still get random crap coming back from my 1 Max Day ".flac" SuperSearch.

Very annoying.
