ss broken - please refund part of my subscription

Post by debully » Fri Oct 08, 2010 1:06 pm

Hi,

It's only fair that you refund me the monies you have taken in advance for this service you are failing to adequately provide.

Merely giving away a non working service to users who have NOT paid is no consolation to me.

Technical problems or not, you are the experts in providing YOUR service. If I do not provide my service then I do not get paid.

I care and I am sorry for your loses and bad experience. This used to be a decent program, many were able to suggest good ideas and it would get integrated in future releases. But lately just seems like something is missing... and i think i know what that something is... the developer!

They used to give you an extension of days on your subscription equal to the number of downtime days. This was a fair and equitable solution for all.

Newsleecher is no longer interested in fair and equitable solutions, they take your money and give you very little service, and absolutely NO support. I believe that Newsleecher' operators are deliberately engaged in fraud by still accepting money from unknowing purchasers, and NOT notifying them of the current situation.

Note to those considering a purchase, do so at your own risk, Newsleecher is currently in a state of collapse, the program is not being developed, and the SuperSearch Service suffers from frequent downtime. When the SuperSearch servers are down for days and weeks at a time, your SuperSearch subscription is not extended to cover the downtime. If you try to get any kind of help or technical support from these forums, you will not be able to get it.

I will be writing to my credit card from which I paid for the service and getting them to act. If you have paid by credit card in the UK you are covered by the consumer credit act against this kind of fraud.
