STILL MISSING "SS 4 final missing 171 days of headers"

Post by ayoshak »

Search with these:

group:x264 minDays:41 maxDays:213

There is a large zero of headers from 212 days ago to 41 days ago

Download these headers for each group and all is there.

Why do we pay for SS when it is broken?

I'm not sure why that query doesn't return any results. I'll look into it.

The articles are there though. Add a . character to the query and you get search results.

Because you choose to do so ;) You are always welcome to stop paying for the service if you're not satisfied with it.
bug fixed. no idea how. hate it when that happens. trying to break it again now. will. not. be. defeated.

I am sorry to keep on bringing bad news, but the missing headers period didn't dissapear but moved on to the following:

group:x264 minDays:45 maxDays:217

which is logical as the counters always start from the current day.

Unfortunatelly other groups are similarly affected, like:

group:multi minDays:46 maxDays:216

and that includes all binaries groups:

group:binaries minDays:46 maxDays:216

It looks like it is not a bug but the incomplete database fault.

And you lost it sometime in January/February because it was there in December, I was using it.

STILL MISSING

Post by ayoshak »

The gap has moved along the timeline to

group:binaries minDays:48 maxDays:218

That is no headers for articles posted between
30th of July 2010 to 15th of January 2011.

No headers and no search results for any binaries group in that period.

C'mon guys is it that difficult to reload those headers into the database.

Did you try Spiril's workaround? Without it, the files are missing from SS results (adding 20 days to mindays to compensate). With it, the files show up. It looks like it is some kind of bug since the results are clearly in the database.

It looks like it has been fixed

I did a quick checkup upon my return and the hole has been fixed.
Thanks
